Congrats to BC on a final #12 ranking!!!

Congrats to the players on winning the Aztec Bowl I have not talked to my buddy (Dave Hendricks OL Thiel) who played in it yet but I am sure he had a blast playing with other D3 players in Mexico!
GO TOMCATS!!!

I was just notified my a reliable source that coach Tom Clark from Catholic has resigned When they bring in a new coach it will be the 5th coach in 5 yuears...any thoughts...By the way congrats to Bublavi for first team all american

muchacho

I guess the big Mike Clark question is did he say no to VMI because he wants to stay at Bridgewater, or is it because he is looking at other opportunities? What other jobs would be out there that he could be offered and accept over head coach at VMI?

Looks like Marcus Washington showed pretty well in the Aztec Bowl, but Bublavi didn't record any stats. In fact the US teams didn't thow any completions to their wide receivers the whole game.

I guess somebody else just broke the ice. TC...the other Coach Clark in the ODAC has resigned and is heading to Liberty University. I don't know if people realize this, but his family hadn't moved back to Washington after he left W&M. Having his family in Williamsburg while he was coaching at Catholic was a hard thing for him to do.
Coach Clark will be missed at Catholic, and his return to Catholic these last 2 years has been tremendous for the program, even if the wins haven't shown that.
Catholic currently still has 4 full time assistant coaches who are on top of recruiting and running the program.
Catholic football will miss Coach Clark, but the progress that has been made since his return won't stop now.

BC tied UMHB for #11 with an equal amount of vote points.

Tom Clark must be looking at a D 1-AA job. Why else would he leave while Ricca has 3 years left? (Other than Bublavi  getting his degree.)

According to muchacho, he's going to Liberty U. in Lynchburg, which is DI-AA.

Sorry, I don't know how I scrolled right past that post and missed it. Good luck to Tom and whoever gets the privilege of calling plays for Ricca through 2008.

That's right Jeremy, but they are ranked 12th!  :P ;)

That would make one of young Ricca's brothers happy and another brother not so happy.

Warning: The following is just hearsay...

During this past season, I heard that Keith Ricca could be playing for Sydney in 2006.

With Tom Clark leaving Catholic, that looks more likely.  If Favret stays in Farmville that is.

If Keith wants to go for it on 4th Down most of the time then HSC is the place to go to.

What are the rules on that sort of transfer - doesn't he have to sit a year?

patcummings

Nope...no restriction on moving between D3 schools...no sitting out a year, etc.

Mount Union's leading receiver, Pierre Garcon, was the top guy at Norwich last year and moved to MUC...based on what he read here, no less.  Not a bad move.

I saw (and heard on TV) some of the earlier information about P. Garcon's move from Norwich to MUC, but didn't realize he was able to transfer without a waiting period.  I learned something new.  Thanks.
