Yours looks like an emotionally charged argument to me.  I respectfully do not agree with your posts or your strategy and feel you have somewhat improperly used this forum.  Now, back to football, which I sincerely hope is non-partisan ....

Oh yikes!  I was just kidding around, shesh.  Hope my politically instigative posts haven't upset anyone!  By the looks of my karma plunge, I think I have.  I expect a visit into the mid- to low-20s by the weekend.  :o

Back to football talk for me as well. :)

While I typically enjoy  PP because of the sports talk i also appreciate the good natured banter on practically any topic. As I recall however, most efforts at humor that include sweeping generalizations usually aren't very well  recieved.

Kid, I respect all the hard work you invest in keeping up the BCFtbl website and your research and insight into the game but I also respect Hasanova for voicing his objection to your comments.

Hasanova, I'm sure I won't always agree with  but I do respect your willingness to consistently challenge comments that are intended to demean certain persons or groups.

Recently, I've been wondering, if Jesus went to Washington and tried to implement the initiatives in his "sermon on the mount" who'd be most offended. The "conservative" would probably call him a "liberal" because he'd instruct folks not to kill their enemies while the "liberals" would be upset because he'd challenge them to take responsibility for their sexuality and tell them to quit killing babies out of convienience. Now that's someone I really respect.

Lest I be acussed of being a liberal without a sense of humor...

I'm sure that most folks know by now that WWJD stands for "What would Jesus Drive?". The obvious answer can be found in the book of Acts where it states that the Apostles were "assembled in one Accord" :D

OK, peace out!

Check it out for the flash news from Washington Post..

Here's other Ricca story but this time it's about the father, John Ricca and the CUA Football program.

I know you don't post anymore Coach Norton but I'm sure you are reading. Congrats again on the new position. Don't recruit too hard as we have to come to your new turf field next year. Good luck against all ODAC teams without bird mascots! ;D

Opinions are usually non-factually based, highly emotionally charged ;D ;D ;D and as I have discovered quite often in class, sometimes downright stupid. lol

You're talking about Democrats, right? :)

Speaking of which, I saw your office door the other day.  Needless to say, I'm a tad disappointed in you!

Keep making brownies, and I'll pretend I didn't see what I saw. :)

Hey, listen  I was up in DC on Wednesday and I made everybody on the bus wave to W and Laura so don't even go there!!!  Did you also see that the football pics were like 2-3 years old because I haven't had the time to change them?  I will say that I took my football and baseball players to the National Theater and out to a fanch French restaurant that day and we all survived.  Nik says that it was the first itime in a long time he hadn't worn Nikes.  All the guys looked great.  Ties, no hts and no sneakers!!  I am ready for football, but it's only mid-basketball season and tomorrow is the EMU game.  I'll get up tomorrow morning and bake brownies for the Eagle club tomorrow for the 2 games.  See you tomorrow?

Haha, thank you. :)  I knew, of all people, you would see I was playing around.  Hey ... you aren't the only one on that hall w/ a Kerry/Edwards sticker still on their door!  Shoot, your whole department (including History & Poli Sci) still considers Gore your President, ha!

And yes ... I'll see you at both the men's and women's Bridgewater games today.  Both will be great!

You know I stayed out of the politic/religion discussion but after reading all the make nice PC statements I got a little ill.

I absolutely do not agree with Hasanova and he disagrees with me politicially.

Hey it's America.......... but at least he takes a stand right or wrong.  Wrong mostly.  ;)Say what's on your mind and stick with it. If something changes your mind let it be thru empirical data not because somebody screamed louder.

Now I am going to put on my orange and watch those Broncos. I sent an orange colored thong to Skoal for tommorrow's game. Yikes

If Llama is right about Hank Norton coming back there will be another mad dog mean team out there.

Some news out of Tampa....

Jan 20, 2006 -

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to build their offseason roster for 2006, even though the league year doesn't start until March 3.

On Friday, the Bucs announced the signings of three more players: wide receiver Jonathan Carter, cornerback Dwight Ellick and linebacker Jermaine Taylor. All three were inked to "reserve/future" contracts, which allow teams to pick up free agents in January and February even though they don't officially take effect until March.

The Bucs wanted to send Jermaine to play in Europe earlier this month and he was undecided at that time.  I don't know if this signing means he goes for sure or not.  I'll pass on any updates once I talk to him.  Good luck #99...aka #59!!

muchacho

The article mentions John Ricca potentially coaching defense at Catholic. The papers made a big deal out of the HSC-CUA game this year, but having Dad trying to stop son in practice everyday for the next three years would be pretty competitive also. Does the older Ricca take his recruits and bring over to make his defense better, or let the play offense to help the son.

Congrats Jermaine!

Was it me or did anyone else see a BC ODAC Football hat for a split second at the Hula Bowl last night?  I wasn't sure if I saw what I THOUGHT I saw!  :D
