That Caruso guy at Macaelster looks like he knows something that no one else does. Or he could just be ready to blow a seal. Or he could be at the Braves in Murfreesboro.............

27 guys!! That's what BC has on it's O-line probably.

Good luck........

A friend of mine in Cary (NC) graduated from Macalester about 30 years ago after he played HS ball in Mobile, AL.  The Scots tried to get him to go out for the team, but he wouldn't.  He said they were so small & so understaffed, he knew he would be beaten to a pulp by the other Minnesota teams.  I know he was serious when he said his Mobile HS team could have easily beaten the Scots at that time.

Yeah, and I wouldn't be surprised if the BC game film made it into the hands of many D-1 coaches, such as Pete Carroll. Hazleton, had a pretty good day against us.
It was crazy to look at all the three, four and five star Hargraves players listed at Rivals.com

Since we're on the subject of the Bridgewater-Hargrave scrimmage, here was the unofficial box score I put together after doing the stats for the game;

Bridgewater graduates Robbie Jenkins ('03) and Marcus Richardson ('02) had their first AIFL game this past Monday.  I put a little blurp about it in my blog;

I agree.  Why don't we all meet at Stone Station one Saturday when the weather breaks and have an all day tailgate just for the heck of it.  Llamaguy and I will do some Chicken/Pork BBQ.  We could also have Texas Holdem' Tourament.  I'd be down for that....Who's with me?

I know, a bit too excited.  Oh well,  I tried.

so in d3 basketball there are 63 womens teams for the tournament and 59 mens teams... that makes no sense to me. why not buck up for the extra 1 team on the womens side and 5 teams on the mens side to have a perfect bracket?

I could be off-base on this, but I think NCAA DIII has a rule about one tournament team for every 7.5 teams playing DIII hoops.  Evidently, there are about 30 more women's programs than there are men's.  I'm with you, though, make it 64 and be done!  lol

Since many posters seem to be suffering withdrawal symptoms, I would suggest chartering a bus for a ROAD TRIP to Richmond for a Bandits game to support our local heros.  Afterall, Stone Station isn't really a place....it's an ATTITUDE! as evidenced by the Stagg Bowl response to the "Stone Station" hospitality.  The chicken/pork BBQ would hit the spot on a trek to Richmond.

We went to a Bandits game a couple years ago and had a great time.  Great atmosphere!!!  And imagine how our hometown boys would respond to a Bridgewater presence......

Ahhh Skoal and Mom are hurting bad without football.

Well it is so bad for me I watch the pre-spring workouts at the Air Force Academy. LLama told me the locker room was the best place but I did not get what he meant.

Spring football is in APril only 24 days away. I am awaiting the season ticket renewal forms at 0900 hrs tommorrow. I am so pathetic

Still a tad cold to tailgate for a evening/night game, but I totally agree that going to a Richmond Bandits game is a lot of fun.  I went to one last year with Llamaguy and it was definitely a blast (it certainly helped that the game came down to the final play).

I'll be keeping tabs on the Bandits and Bridgewater players that play for them (Jenkins, Richardson and Whitaker) on my BridgewaterFootball.com blog.  They played and won this past weekend, but I'm waiting for the box score to be posted so I can get the complete stats for the former Eagles.  But here was my blog from last week's game;

Jermaine Taylor Update...
He finished a two week minicamp with the Buccaneers in Tampa and said all went well.  He came out healthy and felt good about it.  He left today for Berlin for the Thunder's season.  The first game is the 18th.  I think they play a 10 game season, then he'll be back in Tampa in time for their regular summer camp.  I'll update everyone as I hear from him during the season.
