Why would so many of you pick E&H last week and not this week? They had to be a bigger underdog last week, right? Away, at an OAC school.  Ferrum is no Marrietta! Plus its at E&H.

Why would so many of you pick E&H last week and not this week? They had to be a bigger underdog last week, right? Away, at an OAC school.  Ferrum is no Marrietta! Plus its at E&H.

Probably for the following reasons:

-Ferrum has won the last two years over the Wasps by a total of 29 points

-Ferrum beat the Quakers by 34 last week, when they only beat them by five a year ago

Also, I'm a bit surprised so many picked the Wasps last week over an OAC school that went 5-4 in conference play last year.  I guess people were still riding the Monty hype.

my "source" says they're replacing the software for the internet broadcast of the bridgewater games. says it probably won't be ready for the game saturday, but hopefully by the hanover game they'll have it up and running

Hey, I'm still on the E&H bandwagon. E&H is going to surprise alot of people this week.Even if we only win by one point it's still a WIN. PEACE--- I"m still the E&H Dad

One of Emory's problems last week was also a problem that Bridgewater also had. In order to win, you have to play 4 quarters of football. Playing well in the first half will never guarantee you a win. A perfect example of that is VA Tech game last week. VA Tech did not play great football last week but they did play four quarters of good football to NCSU's great first 2 quarters to mediocre last two quarters.  Consistency wins ball games.

ECHTailgate, Your hit the nail on the head. I believe Coach Monte got the teams attention this week! I think your going to see something out of  E&H this week we have not seen in some time,like getting "Mean and Nasty" Peace---I am.was and always will be the E&H Dad

I'll be down at Shen this week...hope to see lots of BC fans hooting it up before the game.

Be careful Pat.  We see where you already picked Shenandoah over BC.  I can't tell you what Llamaguy and Sanke (aka HUG) might do. 

Just kidding....It will be good when BC wins and we can say "we told you so."

Good news for all Hornet and Eagle fans. According to the Winchester Star today Shenandoah will be putting in temporary bleachers for Saturdays game. SU and the Star think the crowd could top last years record of 7,436. GO HORNETS!!!

Naw Pat he is actually pretty smart! He is trying to make up for the E&H pick last week and knows everyone in the pick'em will take BC again this week. Now Shenandoah just has to Get-er-done for him.
