CBE,

I got your phone messages about being in Florida and meeting up with Jermaine, but it was a day or two before the wedding (and honeymoon) and life was a bit frantic, as shown by my last post being June 28.

I'm glad it went well w/ Jermaine! :)
Kid,
I remembered after the call, as referenced in the second message.  Jarrod tried to one up you at Hooter's.  I'll send a pic when I get back home later this week...I'm down in SU Gull territory this week.

Congrats Kid!!  Marriage is a great institution, if you don't mind being institutionalized!!

My wife and I have shared 46 years together, 23 for me and 23 for her.

Good luck, and remember it isn't always easy, but it is worth every moment.

Kid,

Congrats on losing your.........  Marriage is like a football game. Whether you are on offense or defense stay one step ahead of your opponent!

I'm reminded of the old joke:

A man says, "My wife and I have been happily married for five years."

"So," says a friend, "you've only been married since 2001?"

"No," says the man, "of course not - I've been married since 1967 - but I've only been happily married for five!"

Snapped a picture of Jopson Field today ... it's looking nice! (click here, third picture down)

Also, finally got my hands on the VHSCA all-star football game rosters.  Took calling the VHSCA president and three newspapers (Skoal, it was your paper that finally had them - News & Advance).  I put a little blurp on my blog about ODAC players and some high profile Division I-A players who will be playing in it.  Check it out.

Kid,
Always remember that marriage is a give and take proposition.  You give and she takes......

Nice article on one of Randolph-Macon's recruits, QB/DB Joe Muraglia from Queen of Peace HS, New Jersey, who played in the New Jersey All-Star Game on June 29.

       Kid,

Congratulations are in order!! Just remember love is blind and marriage is an instituation, but who wants to be in a blind institution? I can say that after just having celebrated my 28th wedding anniversary this past Moanday. I wish you all the best. Remember if Momma ain't happy nobody is happy!!!!

         Pat,

The BC recruit Tee Anderson. Was always playing football with the older guys even though he was younger and it paid off. I watched him grow up from following around his older brother to becoming an all state footbal player. Coach Landis at E.C. Glass made him into an All State player... By being an alum of BC and E.C. glass, i will be there to support one of the best DB's in the state. Hope to see a few of you there ;D

Yeah KID the honeymoon will only last so long. Enjoy it while it lasts because that trap will only be available on rare occasions before you know it.  ;D ;)

Message for Kid......
When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me
that I should get it fixed. But, somehow I always had something else to
take care of first, the truck, the car, fishing, always something more
important to me.
Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point.
When I arrived home one day, I found her seated in the tall grass,
busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors. I watched silently
for a short time and then went into the house. I was gone only a few
minutes. When I came out again I handed her a toothbrush. "When you finish
cutting the grass," I said, "you might as well sweep the sidewalk."
The doctors say I will walk again, but I will always have a limp.

Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right, and
the other is a husband.
