Yes Skoal. My two times at STone Station I spotted you and your harum of winches and a covered container of.....I'm sure pineapple juice.  ;) I say that with envy and admiration.

I envy the BC crowd as my team Lees-McRae dropped football in 95. I miss the same things you BCers enjoy 12 or 13 times a year. Or was 14 one year?

But again it's the nature of football for some things to distorted when you lose.

True abnrgr; things do get distored when you lose.  I know all too well.  I played for BC 87 through 90 and I don't think we ever cracked .500.  I do know we beat W&L though a few times during which we called it the "Cigar Bowl."

I don't recall seeing you at Stone Station but that doesn't mean we never met.  My covered Pinnapple juice is "tight."

Justa fan
Trashy talk to me is what some girls said to me in Subic Bay Phillippines  in 1982. "I love you long tome GI"  :D Even in 1975 when I played, people talked to each other mainly to get them a little agitated. But as Skoalmaster said "every one has an opinion" or words to that effect

Skoal train dude
I was not dumb enough to walk into a den of possible agaited Eagles. When scoping the AO one blends in for survival  ;)

You've got us all wrong.  We welcome anyone at Stone Station.  Regardless of the team they follow!  Remember that next time you have a chance to witness Stone Station in all it's Glory!!!!  Please stop by and share in a beverage and some great food.

Thank you sir for your southern hospitality. Now I must be off to the next debacle in my life. Good night sir

Again to all the BC fans. YOU ARE GREAT FANS!! And what I wrote about your head coach has no reflection to your kids and frends on the field. The players are class act #1. I hope SU is just a great as BC is one day. But 3rd string or not you dont take a play with a few seconds left. The play did not amount to anything, but BC should had taken a knee. Thats what should had been done. The families and fans of SU in the stands were livid and when I got in may car they guys on the radio were saying what a cheap move it was. Again no offence to any BC players. And try not to take it personal about this. But like the radio guys on 95.3 said one day SU will remember this. I do want to thank those for the invite to stone station. I wanted to go in but I was with my soon to be wife and she did not want to go in. Its hard enuff to just get her to the games. ;) Anyway, again please dont take anything personal. You ARE great fans and your team showed that it belongs back in the top 20.

To those that think Iam over reacting to this, Please understand that Iam not the only one that feels like this. Many fans and parents @ Shentel were very upset about this. Also the guys on oldies 95.3 were also talking about this and said it was like rubbing salt in the Hornets wounds and it was a classless act from the BC staff.

This comes up a lot. You may think it's rare in Division III but it actually isn't. Threes score on ones a lot, and vice versa.

I'm of the mind that a first-string defense has to buck it up and make a stop. And I've seen it done TO my favorite team. But that's the breaks.

Uncle Jessie,

I was not at the game, but just reading your post.  I played at BC from 86 to 90 and I have been on the receiving end on plays like that plenty of times.... trust me.... Remember we played RMC
Thought it may have been a classless act on the other team, and was upset after the game.... eating dinner with my parents....
And my mom put it best to me.... said baby.... dont be mad at the other team... U guys need to step up and play better....Looking at me with a straight face.... she said it could have been worst than that.... if they had kept the first string in.  It hurt, but my mom was right......
That's football.....and it happens every weekend.....
Sorry that you guys had to experience that..... and hope that time will heal ya wounds....or make ya stronger!!!!!!!!!!!

Miz...what position did you play? Were you any good? Or are you just a jealous little wanna-be who never was? Sounds like you're getting a little nervous.

It's the information age.  You figure it out.

Pure trash move from the BC staff to do that to a bunch of college students.

The QB Lincoln is a senior who had never stepped on the field so that was a big moment for him.  All he did was take a snap and run a simple running play that really had no chance of "running up the score".  If your team can't stop that and if you can't handle that, you don't belong on the field.  You're clearly upset because you team got housed tonight and you are making a mountain out of a molehill talking about that last play.  Now I wish they did let the kid throw deep.

Just got home,8 hours on the road. It was a long, long drivex100after watching E&H lose. We need a running game. Losing  Chris Miller really hurt are offense,it is going to be hard to get a RB to fill his shoes. Ferrum has a good QB. He runs the option really well out of the double wing and also has a good arm. Ferrum is going to stay in it with anybody in the ODAC. At least we have 2 weeks off to get ready for W&J. I hope we can get reloaded and remounted in that time. Its going to be Parents Day and I pray we can stay close.Coach Monte is going to do is best to get them ready, the WASP'S have to get a case of "WANT TOO!!!" P.S. Unoffical attendence MAYBE 2500 not including Ferrums 100. PEACE---- I am the E&H Dad aka SKOALTRAINS STEP DADDY
