R-M plays at McDaniel on October 21, that is.

Say, if one posts, but no one reads or responds, does that mean one posted at all?? ??? ??? :-\
Good thought.  lol  Here's an old joke along those lines:

If a man is alone in the woods (no wife, no girlfriend, no significant other; that is, no females at all!) and he says something, is he still wrong?

Congrats to Matt Barnhart for filling my size 13, triple E shoes in compiling this week's "Around the Region."

Work has me crazier than ever and I haven't had an off day since Labor Day.  I appreciate Matt stepping up to keep it going this past week.

Very nice article Kid!!

Thanks guys ... I had fun doing it.

Hopefully the W&L folks didn't take it personally. :)

What is there to take personally?  The stats are the stats and pre-season is different from what happens during the season.  I agree that the offense will continue to gel as the season progresses.  The proof will be Oct 28!! 8) 8)

And thanks Hasanova, my personal editor!! ;)

Scroll down and read my original post on the non conference games again.  I edited it soon after you posted what you did, and gave you a shout out.

So, if one posts, and another reads it and responds by editing his or her original post, does that mean one edited at all?!?

i know all i ever seem to post on here is pro-bridgewater or anti-anyone else, but it's just so easy sometimes... just read the around-the-region (good job matt), --and yes i mainly read just the bridgewater parts-- but when your alma-mater is 23 for 23 in the red zone, its hard not to drink the kool-aid as they say (i hope i used that phrase correctly). that's pretty impressive. i'm real happy for and proud of them eagles (players and coaches). take the bye week and then keep it rolling on the 14th

You're welcome.   ;)  Contrary to a myth that was perpetuated in Pride of the Yankees, Lou Gehrig did NOT hit a HR through a window of the Athletics Department at Columbia University!  In an effort to dispel another myth, this is NOT the 2130th consecutive post I have edited!  :)  Peace

Congratulations to Quaker Chris Barnette for being named the ODAC Player of the Week and for being selected to d3football's Team of the Week.  Chris caught 12 passes for 116 yards and two TDs in Guilford's 36-30 win over Greensboro, including the walk-off 25-yard winner in the 2nd OT.

Was looking back in old issues of the Bridgewater Alumni Magazine for something else, and ran into a feature story on one of our own ...

Rugby Guy was featured in the spring 1996 issue ... I scanned the first page ... he's the one in the middle of the five (and cut out at the bottom left of the page).

What a Stud that Rugbyguy.  Kid, you'll need to go back a bit further than 96' to find anything on the SkoalTrain.  Try 91' and then let me know what you find.   ;) 1991 ODAC Player of the Year!!! Toot, Toot! (That's me tooting my own horn)  I know, it's a shameless plug.

With BC having an off week:

Here are a few teams, I think I am going to be routing for:

UMHB
Greensboro
Huntingdon
W&J

(Strictly personal) ;)

"Routing for?"

Does that mean pulling for an overwhelming victory?  ;)
NO, Tusky, You cannot MOON Dr. Geisert!

I'd take an overwhelming victory by CUA over W&L... for strictly BC reasons..  ;) :D

Actually, I would think that a W&L win would help BC's Quality of Wins index more than a Catholic victory would.  That would most likely put W&L in the top winning precentage category to get the maximum amount of points for that game.
