Merry Christmas!  Sh***er was full.

Lloyd Christmas: That's a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?
Lady at bus stop: Austria.

Well looks like you Bridgewater guys finally have nothing to talk about. Feels good to say that the ODAC is putting someone else in the tourney. Good luck to Washington and Lee. And congrats to Bridgewater for winning all those championships.

Even if they'll be likely be one-and-done (in ugly fashion)?

Not that we'll know whether this BC team could have done any better, but our conference certainly won't look good if its champion limps into the postseason with a 7-3 record and loses in the first round. :-\

Good luck to Washington and Lee.

I'd love nothing more than an eighth-seeded ODAC team to travel to a No. 1 seed and win.  Will certainly give the conference some national credibility.

Hopefully the wind isn't blowing this Saturday! ;) :D

To all the Eagle posters, and other ODAC posters I want to publicly say how impressed I am with your genuine enthusiasm for the Generals.  I am utterly speechless at the show of support and friendship toward W&L.  Wow.

I know I came on the board and poked a sharp stick in your playpen, and I didn't mean it maliciously, just wanted another point of view to be heard.  I wasn't on the board during the HSC chase of the Eagles so I just messed with  all of you to see what I could stir up.

I need to tell you that I came on the board in hopes I was prepping myself for some serious smack and throwdown if my son had only attended an ODAC school.  But in spite of faint pleas and generous bribes it wasnt' to be.  So his red shirt comes off next year and I will be supporting him, and back into the shadows of the DIII board.

You guys and girls (O-linemom) are truly a class act and I have sure enjoyed being on the board with you.  I don't know what will happen Sat, but I hope the Generals put on a good show and make a good accounting of themselves.  Thanks to all of you for the fun I have had this season following W&L.

BTW I am sure many of you noticed the coincidence; my arrival on the board and a W&L ODAC championship.  Call it what you want but...............

LOL, I love it when Skoal gets bored. I know an old fart like me should be home in bed but decided to check the board before I left the office. What a treat!

I don't really care if it is one and done. I'm just glad to see a different team in there. It shows that there is more competition in the ODAC now and isn't dominated by BC, even though most BC fans are having withdrawls from not having championships.

So once again Good luck to Washington and Lee and I hope they can pull off the big upset.

Yikes, don't start sounding like a Centennial Conference member.

I would think a conference (and its members) would want a playoff rep(s) who has a chance in the postseason.

I won't even bring up their loss to BC (since it was so windy and all), but to lose to a 3-7 Franklin & Marshall team to begin the year and a 5-5 Case Western Reserve squad to finish the year (by two or more TDs) doesn't bode well for our playoff rep.  Both were on the road, and now they travel to 10-0 Wilkes.

Will the Generals really feel good about a 7-4 season when they weren't even the one to unseat the Eagles?  I suppose a ring is a ring is a ring, no matter how you earn it.  When the Eagles won five-straight, there was no question who the best was.  Maybe the W&L people aren't as excited because there is a little seed of doubt about who the best was this year.

Maybe this will stir up the W&L fans. :)

how bout cortland state ends up 9-1 (with the loss being an overtime loss to the conference champion rowan), 14th in the nation, and still doesn't make the playoffs.... unbelievable. it may be time to reevaluate some AQs

All things Dumb and Dumber

But it fits all our minds to a tee!

My "guy" trilogy:  Dumb and Dumber, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and The Jerk.   Put a cooler next to the sofa, eat chips right out of a two pound bag and laugh 'til you cry.  Now relax while I recite the instructions for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch:

Consult the Book of Armaments!

There are many ways to vanquish your foe. Sometimes, though, a special weapon is needed. We present to you, to use only for good, the Holy Hand Grenade. Think of it as the BFG of centuries past. Let us now turn to a page from "Armaments, Chapter Two," for instructions on how to use the Holy Hand Grenade properly.

First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shalt be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thou foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.

Perfect for use against Killer Rabbits.
