you know, what with the methane and such.  that reminds me of that scene in "better off dead"  where that kid's mother was smoking at the dinner table and thought she was drinking wine but it was kerosene or some other such flammable liquid and then the next day, the guy was like, "I am sorry your mom blew up the other night."

I once helped rescue Skoaltrain from the chitter on campus at BC. He may have been locked in but atleast he had his pen light and cell phone. Thank goodness for technology! :D
good thing it was a pen light and not a lighter; that could have gotten a little hairy.
That's Funny Right There! :)

I'm curious about the W&L following this coming week?  Anyone going?  Anyone excited? Any big Tailgate planned?  Pretty quiet for your first trip to the playoffs in quite some time.  Or do I need to pull out some more movie quotes and pictures?

You know, it's time for some.....

O.K. I couldn't resist:

Most excellent.  Most. 8)

My biggest memories from '75 involve Carleton Fisk waving his home run over the foul line against the Big Red Machine. . . .

One of the best World Series ever IMHO - I remember watching it while trying to study.  Carlton skipping down the first base line at Fenway in Game 6 while motioning toward fair territory is an indelible image.  That HR sent the Series to Game 7, but all the games were tight.

Now in my era that highlight would be Kirk Gibson coming to the plate on one leg and single leggedly powering the Dodgers over the A's.  :o

And to think I had a $30 bet on that game because they said Gibson wouldn't play! >:(

GA vs FLA in the swamp 1985. Lindsey Scott tail back grabs a dump pass over the middle and screams down the middle with 80K nuts screaming. Fla was crushed

or Champ Baily, Broncos( I was sitting there in front this one) pick Tom Brady for a 100 plus run. The electricy still makes my hair stand when I think of it.

Or the boring one. Being the last one to get on a Pave Hawk as they came out of the woodline............  which preciptated a change of underwear.

I won't make it.  And I can't speak for the three other General posters on this board.  I will follow the game on WLUR this Sat.  I can't say I know what to expect.  I think the first game and last game losses were not really indicators of the team's ability.  I think the loss to BC was due to BC emotion than game plan by W&L.  (see UGA over AU this past Sat)  All I know is that it is almost time for CC sports!
