The Guilford announcer said they lost 47-45 to Hampden Sydney.   The ODAC is no longer 2 top teams and a bunch of also rans folks. The ODAC has some depth this year.

Well, just got done watching the Eagles "game" against George Mason.  Mason had a good running attack, but the Eagles looked much better against the pass this week.  Didnt give up any points, so thats always a good sign.  Looks like Sydney's defense deserves just as much talk, if not more than BC's.  you cant give up that many points to Guilford of all teams and expect to hang with the Eagles.  We might put up 100.

On another note....i think the Eagles should rotate QB's. I know it isnt really a formula that people like to do, but Mount Union did it a few years ago, and both of our guys should be on the field each game.  Highfill is impressive with his legs, something I didnt know was there.  and his passes are beautiful.   Taking nothing away from Lewis because he is playing great too.  Just an idea.  (one that i know will get shot down.)  lol

BC 100
HSC 50

:) :)

Oh yeah...Jeremyboyz.  You are right.  the ODAC isnt two top teams.  After HSC's showing today, it is still ONE top team.  BC.  and one more note....what happened to E&H today?  I thought they had a chance guys?  I guess that didnt turn into much

Jeremybozz

I hope you are correct but remember BC only beat RMC in OT last year. HSC and BC should be an awesome game.
This is perhaps the best BC offense since 2001. Our D is not as good as in past years but HSC D is not playing great either.

I don't think the HSC/Guilford game will really have much of an effect this week.  Last year HSC only beat W&L by 3 points.  BC won in overtime against a Randoph Macon team that was crushed by HSC the next week.  This will be a very good game, but BC will win.

50-0, EHC might not win a game this year

Generals were just stopped on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line.

So what was the final of the BC game?

Jeremybozz

I am concerned about the BC defense. Hanover scored 17 on Waynesburg and 42 on us.
HSC defense also needs to be concerned after Guilford got 45 against them. Guilford did recover 3 HSC fumbles in that game.

Listened to a good chunk of the HSC/Guilford game...really a shockingly bad performance from the Tigers, and a really good one for Guilford.

Props really go to Guilford who never gave up - scored a couple late TDs and nailed the 2 pt conversions to close the gap.

H-SC is a joke.

Hell of an effort by GC Q... tied 8-8 late in first, gave up a kick return for a td and a int for a td... shortly into the 2nd it was 37-8. 37-15 at the half. GC Q came out and battled in the 2nd half.. rallied to 37-29, 40-29 after HSC FG. 40-37, 47-37(w/ about 1:41 left), GC Q scored in about 30 secs to make it 47-45 and HSC was able to run out the clock after getting one first down.

GCQ out performed HSC today... Offensively the score was 45-32 in favor over GCQ. The quakers D also stepped up big too. They had to have atleast 2 ints, prob 3-4 fumble recoveries, and 2 or 3 4th down stops. I don't know the exact stats on the game but I can't wait to see 'em. Hell of a game. GC just ran out of time on the comeback.

W&L QB did throw for over 300 yards.
