And there are still more than 5 minutes left in the 1st quarter .... !

Emory and Henry has the ball and had finally crossed midfield for the first time, but a penalty puts them back to their own 38 yard line -- 3rd down and 25 to go.

Tigers stop the Wasps at the 2-yard line!

HSC takes the ball with a 13-point lead and about 4 minutes to play.  If they can hold on, they'll have a win against probably the toughest competition they've played yet this year, improving their record to 6-0.

Four games left:  Washington & Lee, Catholic, Salisbury, and Randolph-Macon.

Mount Union has just scored and is now leading Capital, 28-21, with 2:59 left in the game.  Capital has the ball on their own 32 yard line ... 1st and 10.

The Scoreboard on D3Football.com has RMC getting beat by Frostburg State 23-19.  However, I think that score is wrong because the Jackets were ahead 23-19 when I lost the feed w/5:08 left in 4th Qtr.  So I'm assuming the Jackets beat Frostburg St. 23-19.  I may be wrong ... if I am someone needs to post an up to date score.  I know one thing Randolph-Macon needs to get their rushing attack going better.  I thought Suggs and Matthews could carry the load, but they really need to step it up a notch with the meat of RMC's schedule coming up.  Faulkner needs to spread the ball around more to different receivers besides Peoples and the Defense needs to get much tougher inside against the run.  That 8-2 team of a couple of years ago was no fluke - they were incredibly tough to run against inside, even HSC's Simpson had to get most of his rushing yds to the outside ... this team has similar talent on D -- again,  they just need to step it up a notch.

Capital to the Raiders 32 yard line. Kehres calls time for MUC.
