Congratulations to E&H for today's win.  Jennings had a great game.  After Guilford starting QB Walkins was injured in their first drive, the Quakers just couldn't ever get their offense rolling.  No passing threat made it easy for the Wasps to set their Defense.
Hasa, sorry that we were not able to connect. I was on the road when your response came in. The Quakers have a beautiful stadium and a great environment to paly football. The weather was perfect! I did not see the injury to the starting QB. The early drive off of the E&H fumble looked promising for GC. The back up just could not seem to get it going on the passing front. GC did have some great runs. One thing is for sure, GC played hard until the final buzzer. I am happy that my Waspers came out on top, but I felt that GC had more than they showed on Saturday. Myson plays on the O-line and had good things to say about your nose tackle. I hope that your off season is productive. We'll see you in Emory next year. Only 9 months, a couple of weeks and a few days until Kick Off 2010!

Congratulations to the HSC Tigers on an undefeated regular season.

However. I want to give credit to a RMC squad that battled as hard as they could to the end of the game.  RMC played an outstanding game.  They had no turnovers.  Their receivers seemed to catch everything that was near them.  The quarterback was the most accurate passer that I saw all year.  Especially in the challenging conditions.  Weather conditions played a big part in the game.  The field had standing water on it at the start of the game and it was a muddy mess from there.

HSC made the most of the opportunities that they had.  They only had the ball for less than 18 minutes in time of possession.  The defense played outstanding.  Especially in the 4th quarter turning RMC away two times in the red zone without points.  The kickoff return did not hurt as well.

Good luck to the Tigers in the playoffs.  You have earned a home game so make it count.

Can't speak for the principals and partners, but the plan is to hit Farmville this weekend to support the ODAC.  If things play out according to seedings, I hope to be in Dover for the South Region Championship game in a few weeks.  Perhaps we will see you there (and in Salem)?

I hope all is well.  Give my best to the Mrs.

And just for you......my wife calls the D3 playoffs the "Mount Union Invitational" ;D

I want to congratulate the Tigers on another ODAC Championship, and on winning what was one of the wilder games in The Rivalry this past weekend.  I wasn't there in person, but was able to listen to it through the computer.  It had to have been fun to watch regardless of who you were rooting for.

I think R-MC has a lot to look forward to next season! ;D

Good luck to the Tigers against JHU!!  I"ll be pulling for 'em, of course. 8)

Hey, I'm sorry we missed each other as well.  The stadium is greatly improved from 4-5 years ago ... and it was a picture-perfect day after a week of rain.  Watkins getting hurt changed the whole complexion of the game.  He injured his shoulder on the first series and had it in a sling on the sidelines.  Parker is primarily a running back/receiver and hasn't played QB since HS ... it just allowed E&H to key on the run for the rest of the game.  Also Markus Brunson on Defense broke his arm against CUA and missed his very last game.  Hopefully, we have a lot of returning players and can win more in 2010.  I've heard E&H has a beautiful place as well - hopefully I can make the trip next November!

Hey gang--playoff time again--I was wondering if anyone from Bridgewater knows what happening with the Stagg web site--everything on there is still from last year.  Is Kid still doing that stuff?

Hope to see some of you in Salem this year!

HSC faithful, need a little insight into the game between HSC and NCWC.  The score says a beat down, was it that bad?  Was their defense that pourous?  Trying to get some info for the game this weekend between wesley and ncwc.  any insight will be appreciated.

This is the year!

This is the year that an ODAC team other than BC gets a playoff win.   GO HSC!

Did I just say that?   :D

Bridgewater is the only ODAC team to have a playoff win?  Really?

Kid was never working on the Stagg Bowl site. It's the ODAC office.

I was not at the H-S / NCW game but did listen on the radio. It sure sounded like a beat down to me. I talked to a few friends at the Salisbury game a few weeks back and was told it (NCW game) was one of the most dominating games H-S has played on both sides of the ball in a long time. I suspect it was a combo of a good and experienced  H-S team catching NCW at the right time. I am sure the Bishops have gotten better throughout the season.
H-S has a great opportunity to elevate their program Sat. Not having to travel to MUC or Wesley in the first round is an opportunity that doesn't come along too often. Here's hoping that the Tigers do in fact face the Purple Raiders or Wolverines down the road a ways.  ;) GO TIGERS!!!

I was at the HSC - NCW game in Sept.  It was a beat down.  The score was 41-3 at halftime.  Starters did not play after halftime.  However, I agree with Allsky that this was just as much a situation of an experienced HSC team catching NCW at the right time.  This season when the weather has cooperated HSC has put up big numbers, but when they have played in wet or sloppy conditions the games have been closer.  NCW has a Senior quarterback that is a two year starter and a good leader.  They have good strength on the D-line and speed at the skilled positions.  Their pass defense was not up to par when they played HSC.  They stopped the run well.  The teams in  the USA conference are run oriented and they handled them well.  The other loss to Emory and Henry involved a comback by E&H in the 4th quarter with their passing attack.
