ODAC postseason pick em board is updated. Please help me fix any errors over there.

Hopkins was 50/50 run vs. pass, but they keyed on the aggressiveness of the linebackers and would hit the dig route 9 times out of 10 when they would pass because the LB's could not get back in their zone to cover it in time.  #3 is a bruiser, but i'm sure he's spending some extra time in the training room today from all of the hits he took on Saturday.  Also, when #11 comes into the game at QB, watch for QB lead draw.  They are not unbeatable, but they are well coached and they have a sound game plan.

Anyone heard anything about the all conference team yet?

Traditionally the coaches meet to decide the team this week, believe it will be out tomorrow.

Does anyone else see the humor and the (slight) irony in the Stokeley Fulton Award going to a player from Emory and the Lou Wacker Award going to a player from H-SC?  I only say slightly ironic given Coach Wacker's tenure at H-SC.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

No irony; Coach Fulton & Coach Wacker were/are huge names in ODAC/Mason-Dixon football and it is only right that they are remembered by having the awards made in their honor. Just happens that E&H had the best O player of the year and HSC the D player of year ... both great D3 players.  One great coach in ODAC/Mason Dixon football not remebered via a named award. Any guesses who that might be ??? It needs to be addressed in my opinion.

First time post but have enjoyed the board this season.  Although we lost to the Tigers, having seen the progress of the young Jackets this year from first game to last, very proud of all the effort and the job Pedro and staff did with these kids.  He played a bunch of young kids, including 10 Freshmen on both sides of the ball so the upside of the team is huge.  Rumor is our QB is going to follow the Sedler route and come back for a 5th year - has one year of eligibility left.  Will see.

My answer to the question obviously is Ted Keller - great Coach and a great man.  A member of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame, I know he was a very strong supporter of Pedro as he rebuilt the program from scratch.  He and Stockeley Fulton, although bitter rivals, were also best of friends.  I remember how devastated Ted was with the loss of Coach Fulton.  His death came as a surprise this year and he is missed by all in the R-MC community.

Hopefully the ODAC will remember Ted in some way.

Great holiday to all.

Congrats to the All-ODAC team members.

I haven't seen many games from the ODAC, but Caleb Jennings is sure a studbolt.
