Yeah, but you're probably cheering for our opponents again--whoever they are! :( :(

Final was 23-7 Johns Hopkins over Hampden-Sydney at HSC.  Disappointing end to the season for the previously undefeated Tigers.  Keep your chin up and congratulations on a fine season!
Hasa...I have a recruiting tidbit for you. How may I contact you?  wm

Well, if WW or Linfield gets there, yes, but otherwise, I don't think so.

I hope everyone has a great time in Salem!  With luck, I'll make a return trip in 2010, but son #2 and his fiancee have chosen 3:30 pm on Dec. 19 as the "Big Day".  So, guess I better be in Asheville, NC!  May the best team win.  :)

Blasphemy, you didn't raise your son to know you DON'T get married during football season?  ;)

Yeah, I know.  I failed miserably as a father, didn't I!  What can I say, they both graduated from a DII school.  lol  :)

So, guess I better be in Asheville, NC!

Given that my son is 12 and has made 7 trips to Salem, I almost wish the game was in Asheville. One of the neatest city's on the planet

I wholeheartedly agree, Asheville is a very neat city.  I've enjoyed every visit there.  If I can work it in, I may also go to the Biltmore House for the Christmas decorations and to the Grove Park Inn to see the Gingerbread House competition - both are truly amazing.   Not to mention, I find a new restaurant every time I go.  One - or both - of my sons was in the area from 2000-2008 as son #1 was at UNC-A and son #2 was at Mars Hill.  Not sure what venue they'd use for a football championship, but it sounds like a plan to me!

I haven't researched the stadium, but maybe Western Carolina? It's about 30 minutes away on I-40, easy to use Asheville as a base.

Thanks, kickerdad.  She's a California keeper.
