It was started during President Stone's tenure, so I think it should stay that way too!  You could, of course, go with Cornelius' Corner Cupboard if you want to stay alliterative.  :)

Don't worry!  We don't plan changing it.  Stone Station is here for good.

Good!  Stone Station is how it ought to be.

Hubris and avarice is all. Just call it Championship row then no one can come in and change it.  :)

The closest thing that I can think of, with respect to fine cuisine in Texas, is the world famous State of Texas' Fletcher's brand Cornelius Dogs.

By chance, has anyone ever served a Cornelius Dog at Stone Station?

abnrgr

No ralph but I got a stone thrown at me in 2001. :)

BC's 2010 non conference schedule

9/4 at St. Vincent

there's a facebook event set up by Nik Reese for our game this year. I'm also setting one up on our SVC FB Group page. Stone Station is always welcome. I believe Momma Colbert will be helping set that up.

Looking forward to it!

Bridgewater College selects new President.  George Cornelius.

"Cornelius Station?"  Might take some getting used to.  Seems like a nice guy though.

How about SOOOOOOOOUL STATION.......oh, sorry......thought you said Don Cornelius.  :D

As you all know I have been a great rooter for UWW at the last few STAGG Bowl games.  There is one player from that family who needs our help at this time.  AJ Raebel, a linebacker for UWW from 2004 - 2007, is fighting an aggressive kind of testicular cancer.  Justin Beaver (I know you remember who he is) has set up a Facebook page:  CURE33 to dessiminate information about AJ and to help spearhead funds for him and his family.  You can also go to the UWW football website and read the information there.  There are 2 banks who have set up accounts to accept any funds people are willing to donate.  I'm sure you remember Dianne and Steve RAEBEL who came and partied with us at our tailgates all 3 years that AJ played at the STAGG. He was one of the heros of their first national championship!! This is one of our d3boys who needs our help.  I hope that you all will help me get the message out, not only to those of us in the ODAC, but also to your friends on the other boards!!  I will continue this effort tonite when I get home from my meeting, but any help you can give would be most appreciated by the family and by the greater UWW family as well.  One day it may be one of ours that needs this kind of help.  Thanks in advance for anything that any of you can do.  Keep the Raebels in your prayers!!  Oline Mom

I knew Guilford QB Billy Watkins' father was ill and passed away mid-season, but I didn't know all the circumstances until I read the attached article ... seems Billy Jr. and the team attended Billy Sr.'s funeral on Saturday, then suited up to play HSC at Homecoming later that night.   What a tough day.  We're behind you, Billy ... hope you have a great senior season in 2010!

GC-Q football has a way of pulling their team mates closer to them. Brian Person lost his very close sister in 2001 and coach Iron Mike Ketchum really pulled in the wagons. Sometimes family is not enough
