I agree we are a longshot at best, even if we win out .The W&L loss really screwed us.....but at least we have nobody to blame but ourselves... ....... :-\......I think the only team that will be considered(for a POOl C) is H-SC.....their non-conference schedule is a bit tougher than ours.I hope I'm wrong, but there's a whole lot of "ifs" for us,even if we win out......should be interesting.......Going to Ashland this weekend for the Bridgewater game for the last home game.......Gotta win this one to at least stay alive...... ???.......algernon-thanks for all of the scenarios!!

Algernon,

Thanks for laying out the possibilities for the next two weeks.  +1

I am still using a HAL 8000 to digest but that is a nice layout. I am sure it was easy for HASANOVA but I ain't him. I thought HSC would score 70 points this last week so they "bungled" my estimate. :)

Good job

As discussed at the 4th game mark or there abouts. Somebody will be at 9-1 and will be watching the playoffs from the couch with their girlfriend. Well..... could be either or at any Michigan school. ;)

hey stone station folk.  just read in keith's column that the stagg is not starting until 330 :D.  that is great news for the tail gate before the game.  not that we will get started much later than normal, but it does allow for a little relaxation leading up to the game.  plus it gives skoal a chance to get the cheerleaders from both teams to come over and get their picture taken with the fine looking gentleman of stone station and those of us who hang with you. ;)  also talk of a ex-d3 flag football game that morning, jason has already said he will play and i am sure that skoaltrain has some energy left in those legs to play a bit.  only 7 more weeks until the game and i am already getting excited about it.  talk to you guys soon.

With all the people in the D3 universe except Hampden Sydney fans picking W&L to win tomorrow, It would seem that W&L is a prohibitive favorite.  I do not agree with this position.  However, I am really worried since so many smart people are picking W&L to win.  I believe in the Tigers.  They have a balanced team between offense and defense.  They have played a tough schedule including three difficult road games in a row.  They are battle tested and I believe they have the ability to win the game tomorrow.  They have to execute and perform on the field.

Whatever the outcome, I am really glad to have played and now to follow D3 sports.  In the next 2 weeks there will be some disappointed teams that will not win the key game and capture the automatic qualifier.  However, this division is where every team has a chance to make the playoffs and compete for a championship.  No one will be depending on a computer score or a group of very smart pollsters or media representatives to favor their team.

As was stated by Ryan in today's Triple Take in discussing the turnaround that W&L has accomplished this season, " And the fact that both are in such enviable positions of being in control of their playoff destinies is exciting to watch unfold."

ODAC games like the ones being played the next two weeks are very special.  I would encourage anyone and everyone to make the effort to attend an ODAC football game in the next two weeks and see quality young men playing their hearts out for themselves and their school pride.

Nice post 85

I picked the the Tigers because I think you pick the bullies on the block. HSC and BC have been in the top 2 for some time in the ODAC. It took some time for them to knock BC off their perch. They are hungry. Winning games on the road is key.

My apologies for not recognizing you for your pick abnrgr.  I hope the "winning on the road" experience really helps HSC tomorrow.

Congratulations to W&L.  Represent the ODAC well in the playoffs.

I will be there to cheer you on.
