What HSC85 says....... ;)......It truly is a unique place to see a game and I actually like it better at their place because of the Charge per car(what a GAS!)but mostly the fact that at HSC you actually get a chance to SEE the game.At our place its difficult to get a seat to watch it because its so crowded-at HSC the natural BOWL-Shape of the field and the fact that you can sit on the hill and watch makes for a great atmosphere.Plus-Even though I have a season tailgate spot at R-MC it has gotten to be such a HASSLE to go sometimes. The rules and regulations are RIDICULOUS .I mean,REALLY-do they have to ID check EVERYBODY that comes in,even the ones that are quite obviously old enough.A friend of mine who was coming into the area with his 87YEAR OLD father(who was obviously 87!) was carded!!Its almost gotten to be a police state sometimes, and it didnt used to be like that.I can understand them ID checking kids but it really has gotten ridiculous-most of the people in the area are obviously old enough and most are alumni.....in this case ,we could use a little common sense from our friends and rivals in Farmville. If you're old enough and not causing any trouble LEAVE THEM ALONE!You will enjoy the atmosphere and the hard-nosed rivalry at THE GAME......and also the fact that AFTER the game we're all great friends again!!  :D......Enjoy!

I agree with this one.  Can't wait for Saturday. I will see alot of you there! 8-)

Let's hope that Hardin-Simmons, Cortland State, Rowan, Montclair State, and Ohio Northern lose ..... and that Wittenberg and Trine win.

HSC85: Looks like I'll be there for The Game.
Considering the size of the crowd, what time
do fans pour into Everett...after the drive, I'll
want a seat & not the hill. I read about Walter.
I will look for him and consider myself lucky if
I get to speak with him. Let me know where
your tailgate is, I'll stop by for D3 talk.

Well, the Tigers did their part although not without a struggle. All we can do now is wait for tomorrow and hope the selection committee sees what we do.

Congratulations to the HSC Tigers for a win in "THE GAME".  Outstanding day for football.  Both teams played well and both came back from double digit deficits.  RMC went up 14-0 after the first quarter.  HSC went up 31-21 in the 4th quarter.  Both teams have a few what ifs for this season.  Mostly about what if a player had not had and injury.  For HSC it came in the form of a key running back getting hurt, out for the year.  For RMC it was their 5th year Quarterback earlier in the season.  Both teams represented their schools well and showed good sportsmanship.

Great time at Everett...the tailgating was awesome....I had to move over to the "Permitted" area.
Bag Pipes...Fly-Over..12,000....A perfect day....When RMC went up by 14, people got a little nervous in my section.
I thought #44 Poydence was a smart LB...all over the place. #31 Vance is very solid-I can why he is the leading target. The throwing motion on Lane was interesting. The RMC punter could get looks from the next level-Boomers!
What was the RMC coach throwing a spaz about when the flags flew & the refs had to figure things out, I must have missed that one!
I will take in The Game at RMC next time I am in Richmond.....a great tradition and THE best game program I've seen at D3...and only $3.00...

Montclair State...40 yrs since the 1970 Knute Rockne Bowl loss....Good Luck Tigers

SafetyGuy

The RMC punter is very good but the HSC punter avg 43.8 apunt and he is only a freshman.

aueagle

SafetyGuy: O.K. and he beats Bud Waddell's 1968 record of 41.1
Let's make sure the Tiger punter is still booming them in 3 more seasons...

Great News for the ODAC.  Two teams in the playoffs.  HSC to host Monclair State and Washington and Lee to travel to Thomas More.  Good luck to both of the ODAC teams.  They are playing to get the first wins for the conference since the Bridgewater years.

AUEAGLE,

Sorry I did not have my computer on Friday and Saturday.  I did not know that you were at THE GAME.  Glad you were able to enjoy the day.
