Nice to see Westfal go out with high honors. I will be incredibly interested to see how the Generals adapt to his graduation. Luckily we have had several qbs get meaningful snaps this year in the existing offense, so hopefully it will be a good transition. Look for Alex Evans, the W&L tight end, to be a force next year if the Generals throw a bit more. Fizgibbons, Kavanagh and Look will be sorely missed and I'm very sad to see Peter Alston's W&L record-breaking streak of PAT's come to a close with his graduation. A rock with over 80+ straight PAT's made.

Good luck to all the ODAC seniors and thanks for the games guys. I've enjoyed watching them.

85 and the rest of the Tiger minions must be wrapped tighter than "dicks hat band" as my great grandfather used to say (on the Tenn side) waiting for this thing to kick off

Good luck you VA corn feed farm boys :) :) :) :)

HSC's defense embrassed HSC football last week, in fact, the past four weeks. My bet is they'll right the ship this weekend.
I'm predicting a very close game without a turnover making the difference.

Go Tigers; get a playoff win for the ODAC

I'm rocking the Bowtie this weekend.  As much as it pains me, Go HSC!  Ouch, that hurt.

Good luck to the Tigers today.  Represent the ODAC men.

Uggh. I find it painful that the only half H-SC was able to play good defensive out of their last 4 games was the first half against W&L. Oh well. A good season for H-SC, wish they could have pulled this one out. Maybe next year the ODAC will get a playoff victory!

Well it seems it is that time of the year where we have no more teams; so begins the long walk thru the snow covered ridge line that never seems to end,  not a peep but the occasional wolf howling miles away. See you guys next year. I will keep up with NOva as he lives in the town of Greenboro where never a solioque goes wasted

I was born in Virginia and went to school there until I finshed the 9th grade, so I could have easily ended up at an ODAC school on the north side of the border!  C'est la vie!

HSC's one and done highlights once again the the ODAC's need to get better across the board if we want to compete on a national level.  We're clearly not there yet!

On to hoops!  Averett Cougars come to town tomorrow night.  Go Quakers!

I can't figure the ODAC thing out. Centre is a good football team but would not dominat the ODAC.
That said, the ODAC does need to improve but with so many schools chasing the same talent I'm not really sure how that is going to happen; throw in the IAA programs, D2 programs combined with the large # of D3 schools in the Virginia/Carolina area there is so much competition for student/athletes. Don't know if other geographic areas are facing the same situation but I do believe it is a hurdle for the ODAC schools.

why yes...I attended Juilliard, graduated from Harvard Business, enjoy long walks and meeting people, lived thru the black plague (had a pretty good time at that) I've seen the Exorcist 167 times.........and it keeps getting better everytime I see it.....

And I write nonsensical posts on D3 football. I am about a 70+% pick ratio and still cannot beat a LLama or a Kid....or anybody else unless they miss 3 weeks of picks ems

Quite a resume, abnrgr.  You forgot pina coladas and walks in the rain, but Rupert Holmes would be proud nonetheless.  lol  For what it's worth, no one can beat Llama or Kid.  :)
