Well well my Hasanova. I can hear those gin bottles rolling on the floor on Sunday morning in your "crib" and you sitting on the edge of the bed with a "headache" after that Quaker smack down

Good for you :)
Well, maybe not gin, but I did enjoy dinner and a cold beer after the Quakers got a badly needed win Saturday.  From records and rankings, however, better teams are still ahead, so we'll see how the team progresses.  I've tried to stay out of the earlier conversations, but I hope the players, alumni, fans and parents will give Coach Rusiewicz and his staff a fair chance.  He's only coached 13 games (and won 3) and this is really his first recruiting class.  There are 50 freshmen on the team and, as someone else said earlier, he didn't inherit the national champs - he inherited an 0-10 team with some skill, morale and discipline issues.  I have to think you don't win the National Assistant Coach of the year honor without having some positive coaching skills.  Peace.

Quakers get an extra week to prepare for the Generals at home. Traditionally a team with a bye (or the first game of the season) has been a problem for W&L since teams get that extra work and film to figure out the option. While I think W&L should handle the Quakers in a few weeks, I really don't like facing teams coming off a bye. Here's to a slow week this week where everyone gets healthy and strong before the ODAC really swings into full gear.

And for this week, certainly and perhaps only (playoffs are the other exception), I'm fully behind H-SC!

We'll see - the W&L game is Homecoming at Guilford also.

Hasano, he got coach of the year for starting a Christmas charity . Great, you hired Santa Claus. Were the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy not available.

[Removed completely gratuitous insult of another poster's mom and suspended user./pc]

I sense a tremor in the force.

Come on guys

abnrgr it's getting to the serious part of the season! ODAC play really opens after most teams have a bye this weekend. I'm looking forward to it, but every ODAC games gives me jitters. Its just one of those leagues where everyone seems to have a chance. GCQ and H-SC last year is enough to ensure that all the coaches and fans in the league know you can't sleep on anyone. W&L and E&H last year coming down to the wire. R-MC winning The Game.

That's what makes the ODAC so much fun these days. Bridgewater and E&H come in to conference play undefeated! H-SC has one tough non-conf to go, but could be doing the same. W&L, Guilford, R-MC come in on a high note. R-MC has hopefully put the Hopkins game well in the rear view. Shenandoah will be up for their first ODAC season. Basically silly season is over and the important stuff starts in 2 weeks for most teams.

This IS serious business!

Essentially all of ECU's posts consisted of insults and axe-grinding. Looks like he took it too far. It's easy to criticize so negatively from afar, but I doubt GC's coaches are phoning it in, and I doubt they need people on here causing possible insurrections among players when they are already struggling.

abnrgr

PG4: Suspended. Yea... I knew that....now.  ;) You're right axe grinding AND insults do not mix.

I am serious as they come about winning but attacking a organization is different than blowing up an individual. Which I try I repeat try not to do. I feel bad later. Unless it's a about a Hank Norton mutant. LOL Just kidding

I understood his frustration but the BOSS man said knock it off. Either knock it off or get whacked. He chose poorly.

HSC has an opportunity to make a statement for themselves and for the ODAC this weekend. Huningdon is going to be a tough out. Defense has been good so far but must play their best game of the year if the Tigers are going to win. Huningdon can both run and pass with great efficency. The Tigers will see one of the best running backs in D3. Offense needs to continue where it left off against CNU. This has the potential to be a great game. Home team should have an advantage due to the 12 hour bus ride.

i hope it will be a good game
we were going to ride up through the country on Prascilla (the trike).......but i got to work.

HSC have most definitly had the upper hand in our contests, but they have been fairly good games. We got lucky last season
I hope Huntingdon will represent themselves well in Va

Very excited for this weekend's matchup between Huntington and HSC. Will Fryman, Fogleman and co. be able to stop Huntington's highly touted running back? Will the offense be able to continue its quick scoring abilities against a much better defense (with a stud at d-tackle for Huntington)?

Should be a good game and a big one for the ODAC.

abnrgr

I think Huntington might (might) get the edge this week., They have shown strength since last year. HSC should get it.

Well I am excited about some football today. Wish I could see a live one this weekend to see paint scrapped off helmets. HOOOOOOOOAHHHHHHH!!!! Get some  :) ;) :D

I think H-SC takes it, but it'll be a tough one. It's a long bus ride for Huntingdon and I think that will be a good chunk of the difference. That being said, I haven't seen either team this year, so it's just a guess. Hopefully the ODAC will get a quality win out of it. It will certainly help.
