Great job by Hampden-Sydney...Hope you all enjoy your trip to McMinnville next Saturday, irregardless of the game's outcome.  BTW, DOC is right....the Northwest, especially in our area is a great place to take a little R&R this time of year.  McMinnville is right in the middle of wine country, a great air museum where the Spruce Goose still lives, a short drive to the the beautiful shores of the Pacific Ocean, gorgeous countryside everywhere you look and excellent over nite and eating establishments.  Reasonable temperatures...nobody freezes here...not now anyway....just a little cold...wear a coat...might need an umbrella...The Catdome has artificial turf and excellent field lights...so no mud bowls here.

I am sure that all of us on the NWC board are really glad to see a new team (somebody we haven't played) coming our way.  I am sure that it will be a great experience for everyone involved and that you all are invited to the "blue jug" tailgate party...lets hope for some sunshine.

As for that bling, the only Linfield people wearing any of those 3 Championship rings will be watching from the stands. We respect your program and the quality of your teams past and present but I assure you our boys will travel to win. You may beat us but we are not going to mail it in. We'll be there Saturday ready to play. The pressure is on your team not ours.

Congrats on winning in softball.  I think Nance has been deep sea fishing a few times. But I think they usually fish for marlin not sharks.  Maybe after the game we can play a little softball too.

Congrats to HSC on the win on Saturday! I'll be rooting for you against Linfield but it will take a Herculean effort to win the game, but anything can happen. Just ask UWW about it back in 2005!
