Well, the HSC trip to Dover is not off to a very good start. Bus broke down, team sitting on highway awaiting help. I'm sure the NCAA didn't hire the most expensive bus line for the trip !!!

Ouch. Hope it improves quickly. I'll be out of pocket all day tomorrow so I'm going to miss all the games, but I wish the Tigers nothing but success.

To my knowledge, the NCAA does not "hire" bus lines for playoff teams.

Yes and no, right? The NCAA pays for it; not sure who makes the booking.

Any breakdown on the highway sucks.  A bus full of young people is not good.  Hopefully there are no issues and HSC arrives in Dover safely.  If they get there in time to practice they will get a nice preview of the possible winds that are always blowing even on calm days at the field.  The bad news is that it may be blowing in a completely different direction tomorrow.  Maybe they will also get to hear the famous fire whistle that goes off and stops play because it is so loud.

duck

NCAA puts bus transportation out to bid and tells you who to use

May be the best thing to happen to HSC.  Not showing up may be better than playing the game!  Okay, Okay, just kidding, HSC fans!

Watched the first quarter of the HSC/Randolph game.  Looked a lot like the Bridgewater game.  My question is, how did Macon only win 5 games.  They run the ball very well.  Need to improve the passing, but they look nice running.

HSC made Bridgewater and Macon look alot better than they are, put Macon does run the ball well. You would think stacking the box would have made a difference.

more annoying since you never know when the whistle is going to blow.  you always know when the cannon is going to go off.

tigerfan, HSC just looks really beat up right now.  Many of the players looked really slow getting back to the huddle on both sides of the ball.  Does Walker have a concussion or was it a leg injury.  He looked really woozy from the hit he took.  Nance got beat up, credit to him for getting back up, but he looked slower in this game than the Bridgewater game.

Michael Herbert

Holton Walker did have a concussion and Johnny Moore hurt his ankle pretty bad - may have torn some ligaments from what I hear.  That's #1 on offense and #1 on defense to go out.  Not good for the Tigers.  TFA probably has a little better scoop on the boys!

tigerfanalso

All I know is both are on the bus. Don't know if that means they can play or not. The one injuried on defense is closely related and I honestly do know to what extent the ankle is injuried. Been a crazy week for both of us and have not had time to catch up. Hoping all is well with both of those guys.
