You nailed it, OL and DL is much improved.

You need to update your signature where you note years HSC went to playoffs & conference titles to include 1977 playoff team.
at the time only 8 teams where invited, top two teams from each region. HSC finished the season #1 in the South and hosted a playoff game; lost to Albany St (New York) 51 to 45.

My observations of HSC. They are better off this year than last. Unfortunately when you have a good player such as Nance you tend to make some calls you might not otherwise. I'm thinking the coaches will have to coach conservatively in comparison to last year. Seems like they found a RB and that helps an inexperienced QB. Chances are you will have a better TEAM this year. Hope we have good weather when BC makes that trip. It's been nasty usually

There's nothing they've done this year that they didn't do last year at the same time in the season but take a worse beating from Wabash. If the "team" is better it's not from losing 4 future HSC HOF players.  If this team is better than last it's because of the offensive and defensive lines.
Note I said team. Yes you lost 2 guys that were definitely game changers. My observation was they got leaned on too heavily and you guys limped across the finish line. From what it looks like you are more diverse in what you can do and an injury here or there won't hurt as much. Also if you control line of scrimmage you can do just about what you wish. Trying to be complmentary on what I've observed last few years.

I was not reading your post as uncomplimentary. I think there are many D3 teams an injury or 2 away from limping across the finish.  Ask GC fans if they think they rely too much on Pawloski. I don't think so. I say ride your best horses. I get what you're saying but I think injuries can ruin this season for HSC and many other ODAC teams in less high profile positions than QB and WR.

Game day. Enjoy the games and fingers crossed for no injuries.

Live stats a full play ahead of the video/audio. Nice to know when I need to cheer and when I need to throw my hat ahead of time...

Bitter series for the Generals. To lose the points off the board and then to have to punt. That could be the event of the game.

H-SC 4th and Goal from the 1 with 12 seconds left. W&L up by 7. W&L stuffed Koonce! Huge defensive stand at the end. W&L gives up 506 yards but HSC needed 507. Koonce is a beast. He gets 160 yards on the day, averages 4.6 per carry, but came up 1 yard shy of what the Tigers needed. As he grows up, the ODAC is going to have their hands full with Kyree Koonce. The stuff of a D-coordinator nightmare.

Heck of a good game and W&L picks up road win for the first time since 2013 and the first win at H-SC since 2005. W&L goes to 5-0 for the first time since 1961.

Now can W&L keep up the intensity? Always the problem in the ODAC.

333 rushing yards for W&L who never trailed though twice gave up 14 point leads. 60 yards passing is just enough. That game was everything it was advertised to be.

And that's pretty much the way it's going to be no matter what when it comes to watching games on the internet. It's going to be that way even if you are watching a game on WatchESPN. HD video = slower than text.

Yeah. My original complaint was the way the screen pixelated every play. It cleaned up midway through the 3rd quarter thankfully.

Great game today at HSC. Obviously I'm very disappointed in the loss.  EH and WL are both 2/0 in ODAC but WL's wins over GC and HSC put them in the drivers seat. Some how WL needs to lose 2 games of their next 5 and HSC has to win out for the Tigers to win ODAC. I think the Tiger's best hopes for a 3peat lie in a tie situation. I just don't see WL losing 2 games going out. Congrats to the Generals for another big win.

Well Hasa. I was hoping your Quakes start the slaughtering again. If they go 9-1; could they get in with not winning the conference? Of course the best outcome would be a 9-1 record with a 8-2 by the bow tie and cheese boys. While I personally like the atmosphere and the urbane nature of the W&L campus and their properly attired coeds (no hippies) I still hope for your football salvation.

I guess that is a paradox of sorts but Duke scoring more today against Army then they did in their first b-ball scrimmage is one too.  ??? ???. Oh who cares. Good luck POPs

I'd be shocked to see a 9-1 and 2nd ODAC Quaker team getting into playoffs based on their OOC schedule.  I don't think that will happen.
