 Former Hampden-Sydney RB Matt DeMasi did well for Bridgewater in the scrimmage vs future ODAC team Southern Virginia. Looks like he might be even more effective catching the football than running it.

Bridgewater Freshman DB Brett Tharp won the Carl Lee Award as the best Defensive Back in All Classes of West Virginia High School Football in 2017.

JHU only averaged about 1300 fans in 5 games last season. So I doubt anyone would notice if only a 1000 showed up.

It really has very little to do with that. Other than lax, sports just aren't a big spectator draw at JHU any time of the year. Some schools just have a culture where the athletics aren't a big deal.

You'll find interesting, informative conversation here! Jknezek is one of the good guys, knowledgeable and fair. You will, occasionally, come across those that seem to have an axe to grind. Guess the boards are just a microcosm of the real world.

I agree Coach Adams has done a great job in Danville.  I would like to see AU join the ODAC and make the conference even better.

I agree Coach Adams has done a great job in Danville.  I would like to see AU join the ODAC and make the conference even better.

The last thing the ODAC needs is another full-time member. With the exception of football, the conference is overstocked with teams. Some sports, like women's basketball, are ridiculous. Both soccer programs are now not able to do round robins. It's a mess. I'm amazed they took Ferrum as a full-time member.
