I refuse to make any predictions based on the fact that last week proved I have no idea what I'm talking about anymore. To be fair, I no longer have the time I used to have to watch games and look at teams. I have soccer games or practice 3 nights a week with my boys and have started taekwondo 2 or 3 nights a week. It's a rare Saturday I get to do anything besides look at live stats for the W&L game occasionally anymore.

I certainly remember those days. Enjoy them as they go very quickly. Next thing you know they are off to college.

Enjoy time with family JK!  I have to miss following the Tigers outside of live stats this year as my wife has been on bed rest with our first child.  So, looks like a year without making a game is quite possible, but nothing like family!

Good luck with the bed rest. My wife was on it for a while before our twins were born. The boredom was brutal for her. It all works out thought. Good luck with the little one too. Life is going to change.

W&L was Jekyll and Hyde today. First half was really good. Second half was... well, they played not to lose. Nothing offensive in the second half. Really ugly. But enough to win at Joplin, which is a hard place for W&L to win traditionally. Take it and move on, right?

On a sidenote, Bridgewater's internet feed was awful. I hope it's not always like that. Pretty much unwatchable.

Congrats to your Generals. Hey, any win is a good win. Mount has had some of those iffy wins. We'll take 'em and move on. Good luck the rest of the way. Go Generals and Raiders! ☠🏈

A good, all-around game for R-MC today. Seemed there wasn't much GC could do. The fumble on GC's second play from scrimmage and the interception on one of their next few possessions, both of which led to Jacket scores, hurt the Quakers early. It was 42-0 at halftime and 49-0 before GC finally got going. I'm guessing that a lot of backup players saw action for both teams much of the second half.

First time poster, long time (nearly a decade) lurker. Was just too young and angry (or....too lazy to sign up?).

The Jackets have been thoroughly impressive this year. Though it helps bringing back 17 starters, they have changed up the offense. While playing the past few seasons nearly exclusively under center, they are now playing almost exclusively in the pistol, which plays more to the strengths of Estes and the pre-snap motions. The game yesterday wasn't close at all, and having the luxury of sitting several of your offensive starters before halftime is going to be huge (and partially explains the closing of the score).

One note: the JHU game earlier this season is not reflected by the score. Down 35-31 at the start of the 4th, it was a lot closer than the final belies. However, athletic and scheme differences finally showed up, and against a team like that, any mistake will be capitalized on (YJ gaining momentum in the 4th, and then Estes throws a pick-6 after a slight mis-read).

Welcome to the boards. It's quickly becoming apparent that the YJs are the class of the conference this year. That run defense is a monster.

And a +K for your first post.

Yes, welcome CaliJacket DR. Great to have an R-MC poster who actually knows what he's talking about, since I certainly don't. But I enjoy watching the games when I can and posting a thought or two. Looking forward to what you have to say in the future. +1K.

What do you know about the running back situation? Frederick had that long TD run, then didn't play much after that yesterday. Just keeping him healthy and giving the other guys experience?

R-MC gets three points in the latest top 25 voting. That could be: (1) a single vote at #23, (2) one vote at #24 and one vote at #25, or (3) three votes at #25.

In Saturday's game at RMC, Guilford's De'Eric Bell rushed for 134 yards and became the all-time leading rusher in school history by passing Reggie Kenan's 3486 yards which had stood since 1976.  With at least 5 games to go, Bell will surely set a high bar for future Quaker runners and has a shot at 4000 yards.  Congratulations!

I'm joining the ranks of JK and refuse to make predictions. Obviously I've not a clue.

Looking more and more like RMC is going to steam roll the ODAC. Pedro has built one hell of a program. Really hurts to make that admission.
