Anyone know if RMC were to clinch this weekend, would the an ODAC official present the trophy to the jackets this week on their field? Or would they wait until to present the trophy after "The Game"?

Similar situation happened to H-SC in 2011, I believe after we beat W&L they gave us the trophy on our home field and not the next week at the game.  If RMC does finish it off this week, a couple things, 1. Hoping for a reverse of 2011 where the ODAC champs go on the road in the game only to suffer a road loss lol. 2. Sad to see a streak end in FarmVille, this would be the first 4 year graduating class since the class of 2006 to not graduate with a ring.  3. When I thought about the H-SC streak, how about W&L? Every 4 year football player since the class of 05, and they'll still keep going as long as W&L captures one of the next 3, so you're talking minimum class of 06-class of 21 taking home a ring at graduation

HSC won the ODAC in 2007. If you were a freshman in 2004 at HSC you won the ODAC in 2007. Not sure where you came up with 2006.

The Game just got a lot more meaningful.

Very good game plan by Ferrum, and just a lack of execution by RMC. Drive the ball constantly, but couldn't finish drives and shot themselves in the foot.

Crazy year for the Tigers! But in the end in comes down to "The Game"!  It's going to be aa fun week on the Hill this week!  RMC was very close to winning ODAC despite their loss today. WL fumbled on the 2 yard line with a minute to play! Great win for HSC who has to feel they've been given a new lease on life.  RMC has to feel a little snake bit or at a minimum Panther bit!  Should be fun to see how the teams react.

Side note:  RMC is now 0-4 against Ferrum all time.

Well... as I said earlier in the week, that was about the best ranking RMC could expect. The committee likes their loss and SOS better than W&J, and CWRU is currently blocked by W&J h2h. Mildly surprised HSU is at 5, but Centre's SOS is strong and their loss was competitive.

You pretty much nailed in your post from Monday (too long to insert as a quote). For those wh don't want to go to the link, here it is:

South Region
1 Mary Hardin-Baylor 8-0
2 Berry 9-0
3 Johns Hopkins 7-1
4 Centre 7-1
5 Hardin-Simmons 7-1
6 Muhlenberg 7-1
7 Randolph-Macon 7-1
8 Washington & Jefferson 7-1
9 Case Western Reserve 7-1
10 Thomas More 6-2

None of this matters now.

Whoa! The Game, with the conference title and a Pool A bid on the line.

Bring it on for us fans around the country!

Well done H-SC. I can't believe Breece fumbled. Oh well. Good luck next week.

I saw the first half but not the second. Yes, Ferrum played a great half -- and it looks like they did as well after halftime. Congrats.  Next week -- two teams playing for a conference champipnship. Great way to end the season.

So if you were a senior whose last season was in 2006, did you win an ODAC title????? I was going by graduation years, so class of 07 didn't get one bc they did not play in 07, and didn't win in 06, 05, 04, or 03

I gotcha. I miss understood what you were saying.  I was speaking from their freshman years. Every 4 year player that has played at HSC since '04 has won at least 1 title. The class of '19 has their shot next week to keep that streak alive!

No kidding they do!  Gotta love #ODACaction!  Ferrum on the road takes out Macon and a fumble inside the 5 means the Game is for the title!  Pumped to be on the Hill next week!  Is this the first time since 2013 it's been for the title outright?

Is there any other school in the ODAC besides SU that both charges you to park and then for tickets?  Seemed a little over the top for D3.  I've been to SU three times now and never felt particularly welcome there.  When I tried to turn left after the game and take the school's  road to go under I-81 to take a look at the campus, I was told the gate was closed so I had to go through all the traffic on the US Hwys over I-81 to get to the main campus.  Why would the gate still be closed when the game was over?  When I got on campus, I drove to the gate from the west side and it was open and cars were exiting the game.  lol  Northern VA is not really the South.  :)

I have been there a few times myself and I agree with you over the two different fees. When we exited and attempted to turn left and go back to the main campus we were told the same thing.  I asked the young man who was working the football game and he told us that a majority of the SU players walk down that back road to get back to their main locker room.  Therefore, the traffic is shuttled to the right for pedestrian safety.  In light of the recent national news of students getting struck by cars entering/exiting a school bus this justification seems legitimate.  Personally, I would rather take the extra few minutes to go around then risk someone getting hurt.

I also do not want to see anyone hurt ... safety first is my motto.  However, when I got to the campus side, there were SU players walking back to campus under I-81 along the creek and cars were being allowed to exit at the same time.  The rule, then, is inconsistent at best.
