Does he still require that the players eat chicken breasts at every meal?

Does he still not put a team roster online?

So many possibilities with this one!

wally_wabash

Has he still won six out of seven in the series?

Did I do that right?

We prefer to look at it as HSC has won 10 of last 17. We also like to point out HSC 5 to 2 in ODAC championships since ‘07.

ODAC Champions 77, 82, 83, 87, 07, 09, 11, 13, 14
NCAA Playoffs - 77, 07, 09, 10, 11, 13, 14
The "Game" 60 wins and counting...

There was a time that RMC went 01-07 without winning the Game....and H-SC won 01-07 and then 09 and 10 as well.  So it's all cyclical.  We'd also point to the fact that when that game has been for the title 09, 13......RMC has wilted and the Tigers have not...things could change with that Saturday, I hope not...Roll Tigers!

I wish I had the time (or was in the same time zone) to engage more frequently. I simply don't.

With regards to HSC, being in academia, I'm more appreciative of places like RMC and HSC that do a great job placing graduates. Plus, I need to save my good insults for current students.

CaliJacketDR I appreciate your participation. RMC fans have been vocal on the board all season until RMC lost to Ferrum. It's a shame we could not participate in some good conversations, and ribbing before the biggest game of the year. I expect a Tiger victory today. But then again I cannot think of a time I haven't. The Tigers have looked either really good or really bad this year, not much in between. They're  all ready tailgating on the Hill this morning. Should be a lot of people and a lot of fun!

Such is the nature of winning and losing.

Don't worry; next year, I'll be more comfortable, and ribbing will commence in full good humor.

Enjoy the game. As always, I'll be watching on my phone while waiting for ballet to end.

So closes the book on another great season of ODAC football.  A great season of highs and everything in between. Congrats to Randolph on their championship and a huge thank you to all the young people who have accepted the challenge of being a student athlete
Bridgewater and Ferrum both play again next making up games that were affected by weather, but conference games are complete

Couple thoughts on The Game.

1. Score was a lot closer than the actual game. Pretty dominant performance in all 3 phases.

2. When it's on, Martyball is unstoppable. When it's off, or when the opposition plays disciplined defense (and doesn't go for the wrinkles), it just looks bad. Today was the latter, but you can see why and how HSC is never out of any game.

3. You can just see a talent difference right now; it may be the insane number of seniors starting this year, but R-MC was slightly bigger and faster, and it showed.

4. The ODAC is highly competitive, and it's fun. Each game can be a dogfight. But man, does it hurt our chances for winning at the national (or even regional) stage. Similarities in schools for academics, facilities, campus life means that it's going to be a fun league during the season, but painful to watch in the post season.

Unable to watch the first half of THE GAME today and the second half was in competition with basketball, which I chose to watch. Congrats to the Jackets on the win and to all the teams and the folks who post here on a fun season.

Congratulations to RMC. They earned it today. But CaliJacket the score was exactly what it was. Never have understood why anyone says a score is not as close as it appears. The score is the score. HSC's kickoff and kickoff return cost them today. It was an entertaining game.  rmc2016 not sure if you have a clue as to what you are talking about. I've been on these boards for a long time and don't let a loss ever stop me from posting.  Good luck next week.

No. The score was not indicative of what really happened in the game. Macon handled the Tigers today. The Tigers really only started to click in the 4th Q. Too much playing catch up. 5 in a row is embarrassing. Pedro isn't going to let up either, knowing the lashings that the Tigers gave him in his early years as the HC. Things will continue the way they're going until changes are made.

Final E&H 70, Guilford 27, Good Sportsmanship 0

Once again, the Quakers could not stop a good passing team.  That, coupled with 5 TOs, led to a 43 point defeat.  E&H simply outplayed the Quakers.

Despite 14 total TDs, the main thing I will remember from today's game is the Wasps waving that "so long loser" wave as they went directly to the clubhouse and left the Quakers standing at the 50-yard line waiting for the customary postgame handshake.   If your sportsmanship is that poor after running up the score, er winning, by 6 TDs, then what would it be if you lost?

That's on you, Coach Newsome.  Opposing coaches, players and fans do not forget.  You did not paint an otherwise fine college in a positive light today.

Congratulations to the Yellow Jackets.  Well done.  Best of luck in the NCAA tournament.  Go RMC!
