Not an RMC fan but according to game notes from HSC, RMC started 2 seniors on defense and 5 on offense. HSC started 1 on offense and 6 on defense.

No. The score was not indicative of what really happened in the game. Macon handled the Tigers today. The Tigers really only started to click in the 4th Q. Too much playing catch up. 5 in a row is embarrassing. Pedro isn't going to let up either, knowing the lashings that the Tigers gave him in his early years as the HC. Things will continue the way they're going until changes are made.

Yes RMC handled the Tigers today.  But the fact is the score is indicative of what happened in the game. That's why it's called the "score". The score was exactly what the score was. It is a fact that's not debatable. Do you know of an alternative scoring method that would give more points to RMC and less to HSC?  Regardless of how bad RMC beat HSC today the score will forever and always be 48 to 35.

Just wanted to take time and thank any and all veterans. It is their courage, honor and sacrifice that allows us to enjoy our freedoms. It is a debt that cannot be repaid, but we are forever grateful for. The fact that we get to enjoy this amazing game and all that we do is due to the those that have protected our freedoms.  Happy Veterans Day and please take time to thank a veteran in your area. A little gratitude goes a very long way

Congrats to Shenandoah on the OT win yesterday vs W&L. Once again the Generals fail to seal the deal when leading 21-7.
Play calling was atrocious and predictable. Defense played soft with the lead and couldn't make a stop in 2nd half or OT.

The Generals will work hard to get better for next year. Hopefully the coaches will do the same.

Leave it to HSC fans to always make a loss look better than what it was. If you ask Coach Marty I'm sure he would say his team got his a** kicked as would anyone who watched that game. Just accept a loss. Maybe 10 years from now or so you guys will beat RMC again.

No one from hsc is saying the Tigers were not  badly beat yesterday. They were.   But the score was what it was. Arguing that it was worse than it was is asinine.

You were wrong about RMC not losing an ODAC game.

You were wrong about HSC fans not posting.

You are wrong in implying the score was worse than it was.

You are wrong in assuming HSC fans are not accepting the loss.

You are wrong about Marty agreeing to it being an ass beating.

I’m sure you’ll be wrong about it being 10 more years before HSC wins in the Game.

Of course the score won't change. But we all know of situations where the final outcome is not indicative of what occurred during the course of the event (sports, real life, etc.). That's where the saying comes in. And it's absolutely true. A final, objective outcome can influence subjective interpretations of an event. And most neutral, 3rd party observers look only at a final score, rather than the evolution of a game.

RMC was up 41-14 at the start of the 4th. We ll know that, in football, offenses become far too conservative, and defenses start to alter their gameplan, which often times allows competitors to earn additional points.

Not too sure why this is a questionable idea.

The score determines winners and losers, but is not always indicative of what a game was like. It's possible to win stat battles in lots of athletic competitions and still lose on the scoreboard. A team like H-SC that can score quickly can be dominated in many ways but still come out ahead where it counts. Fortunately that didn't happen yesterday. H-SC's three fourth quarter TDs could have been the result of who was on the field for the Jackets late in the game.

I agree that a team can play better than another and stil lose a game. But in those instances when this happens the score still provides the winner and the loser. If you want to say RMC won parts of the game more than others I agree. But bottom line the score is indicative of the end result.

Good luck next week.

Sure the end result is the result, but it also misses the ebbs and flows of what happens during a game, as well as when. Don't really care much about it, so not going to spend more time on this.

And last post on a crappy, smoke-filled California Sunday.

I've been trying to figure out how to address an obvious troll who doesn't add anything to the discussion, and doesn't represent values instilled at R-MC.

All I will say is this: rmc2016champs doesn't represent the values instilled by Coach Arruza. As a former player of his, Coach Arruza would be appalled by the posts. Win and lose with class, act like you've been there before, and remember that what you do and say on and off the field will likely be who you are when you are in your fifties.

It's annoying to see a great season tainted by jacka**** who can't handle a win. I know we, as fans, all have to suffer this as fans, but it's antithetical to what Coach Arruza has built at R-MC. I just apologize for his behavior and want to say it's a small subset that ruins perceptions of a fan base.

Thanks for the good words, but I wouldn't worry about it. There are too many great RMC posters here and on other boards to think that that guy is representative of your fan base as a whole. I just figure everybody has at least one of them.

As a veteran, I say "thank you". Many of our heroes never returned to enjoy the freedoms you mentioned. Glad you posted this.     "lest we forget"  🇺🇸❗️

Hello RMC and ODAC fans! Looking forward to the game saturday! It looks like this is our first ever matchup (I don't know if we've ever even played an ODAC team). It's exciting for a matchup between two historic programs! Is anyone making the trek to Ohio for the game?

Well I must agree with the RMC posters; HSC was absolutely handled by RMC, 41 to 14 end of 3rd quarter is embarrassing and drove lots of fans back to their tailgates. Glad HSC put up some points in the 4th, still HSC was manhandled on the line of scrimmage all day long. I believe RMC controlled the ball for 25 minutes in the 1st half; that my friends is a butt kicking. RMC is simply bigger, stronger & faster at this point in time. Good luck vs. JC, represent the ODAC well.

Maybe next year will be the year of the Tigers !!!!!
