Between the two live broadcasts and the live stats of this game, do we really need message board score updates too?

Just a thought. Seems like overkill. I'm not talking about the summarizing posts like the last one, but ones that just give one line of time and score.

SU fumbled the kickoff at the 50 to start the 2nd half, BC recovers.  Next play, Washington rips off a 50 yard run for a TD.

BC 35
SU 20

I'm happy to quit just let me know if there are persons that can't get the audio or updates.

This game is rediculous . BC just scores off SU's fumbled kick off return. MW is having a whale of a game.
I'm out

The live stat score I see is 28-6 for BC. Thanks!

Alright, fair enough. And I'll pull the link.

It takes a little more than just one QB to win games. I'm no expert but from what I hear there are 11 players on the field at a time, and up to 50-60 kids can play through out a game. Against BC, many HSC players have made critical mistakes and or blown plays to cause the losses. Dropped passes, penalties, missed tackles, missed extra points, fumbles, and blown assignments on the part of a bunch of different players all have contributed to the losses. I don't understand how you can pin a loss on a single player...

last i checked, football is a team game

Jeremybozz

Like the roughing the passer penalty in '03 that gave BC new life.
BC and HSC should be a good game again.

Not to mention horrible officiating that gave the game to bilgewater.

Bmore BC

And not to mention the horrible cornerback who got beat deep in the last minute of the game. And the horrible sportsmanship HSC had at the end of the game. Horrible seems like a word that goes well with HSC

#25 Albright got a 34-33 win today. #26 BC leads #31 Shenandoah 42-20 with 6 minutes left. #28 TX Lutheran is in a close game with #11 Trinity during a lightning storm delay. Wooster is also in the mix.
It will be pretty close to see who will get the last spot in the poll and all these teams can make a case.
Most of the favorites won today.

smmtiger:  What a rookie!  First post and starts firing about officials at a game that was in Farmville 2 years ago.  Yeah, that's what did HSC in.....Give me a freakin' break.  You guys got beat. Period.

Good Point BMore BC.....

I doubt we'll see much more of smmtiger.  If his coach knew he was posting, he'd probably put an end to it. Then again, he could keep changing his name.

We'll see come Oct. 1st.  I then challenge you to come back and take your medicine her on this message board.  BC is by far a better team than HSC.  See you in 3 weeks!

The corner did get beat, but was he beat due to a push-off?? Were you there on the field? Did you study the game tape over and over?? I did. And by the way, that corner was a future all-odac db so he obviously wasn't "horrible".

As for the sportsmanship, I was on the field that day and I was there when everything went down. Its funny that everyone speaks of the incident as though BC fans and players were brutall assaulted and jumped, but I remember things going both ways. It takes more than one person, from only one of teh opposing sides for things to get out of hand like that.  Or are you saying that the BC group there that day were all perfect angels?

By the way, for Catholic fans, a photo gallery of today's game.

Can we please put that game away in the books.  It's been almost 2 years since we played it.  What about last year?  Oh, wait, that's right. There wasn't a question that HSC got schooled.  To save your time and my time, let's not type one more word about BC and HSC of games gone by.  Let's just come back here Saturday night Oct. 1st and have it out then.  Man, you HSC boys can't let that one go.  You got beat! And the more you bring it up...You still got beat.  Bunch of Sissy's if you ask me.  Live with it and move on to Oct. 1st.  I'm about tired of all this "he said she said" crap.

BC 48 HSC 28 (If that)

Uncle Jessie

Im going to break up this in two posts for easy read.
With a combination of no tackling defense, costly turnovers and stupid penalties from SU It equals a huge butt kicking. No excuses for SU. They got out played. Here are some quotes from the radio (95.3 FM) that sum's it up for the Hornets play. And these are the nice things they were saying by the way; 1."The offense line is not firing off the line of scrimmage at all. The coach needs to take out each and every player on the field and put in some others that have some hart because the guys that are out their right now have given up "2. "The defense is just standing on the field and they are not even trying to tackle" 3. "Each year SU likes to measure themselves on how far they have come against BC. This year they don't belong on the same field as BC." 4. "I have seen better tackling in a flag football game." I agree with those quotes 100%. But the one that is the most important is about the play at the end of the game. BC killed SU. No question about it.
