Coach,
I'm all for supporting ODAC schools but an 0-2 E&H doesn't stand a chance against W&J this year.  They're no Marrietta, they're better.  The game will be closer than last year but W&J will without a doubt have a very good chance to beat E&H.

[...] By the way, it certainly is a little more active over here on the ODAC board compared to the PAC room.

That's the way we like it!

Just wait until upsets happen ... readers-only become avid posters.  And next week the H-SC vs. BC bantering will begin.  Shoot, watch out if the Tigers win ... I'll bet there will be 15+ 'Sydney posters on here the rest of the season.

I guess Im a little confused on how someone would actually think E&H has a chance against W&J.  Hasnt all the talk been about how bad emory and henry has been playing?  Is Woods still out?  cause if he is, they dont belong on the same field as W&J.  Must just be another hopeful fan not looking at things logically.

As long as the beverages are cold I will be happy, whatever the outcome.

Please don't read this as anti-Wakefield, or anti-Bridgewater, or anti-ODAC or anything of the sort.  Just a note for the sake of accuracy, that's all.

No offense taken Bob. Just glad Brandon ended up in your camp. Where else could he catch on with a young successful coaching staff near the top of the D3 food chain? Not to mention it is ironic that Brandon's two playoff losses came to Mt union & W&J both of which Coach Siranni (sp?) had ties too. ;D Should be a great stepping stone for old #8. ;)

hey bob, i was being facetious (as i usually am) in hinting that wake had everything to do w/ edwards completing 21 straight passes. i was at the game last year; i know he's a great QB. wake's had some wins himself, and rumor is he's a pretty good rookie coach. hell he learnt from the best of em...
and by the way i have zero insider info on bridgewater football. my answer is always like T.O.: No comment. i just get peeved when 'volunteer' coaches show up on here. dunno why......... just hits my buttons i guess
good luck to all in your games (tailgates) this weekend (real and pseudo). stay safe and injury free.

Who cares if Wakefield helped or not , there won't be any career days this Saturday by a President.  That "Black Hole" defense, or whatever it was called, is gonna want to go crawl into a hole after this weekend.

It's gonna be a long trip home.

Dude, are you serious or are these posts jokes?

Is that you Hug?

I gotta' say, I am already getting real ansy for next weekend.  I wish we could fast-foward about 8 days right now (no disrespect to GM or Guilford).  This HSC-BC game has not only been the most important OCAC matchup the past 4 years but the games themselves have been awesome!  Great atmosphere at both stadiums, great fans on both sides.  Just college football at it's best for my money.  I CAN'T WAIT!!!

(BTW, that officially conclues my "mushy" posting for the week and will be the last time this week I say anything positive or complimentary about HSC.)

Miz:  You can bet SkoalTrain will be in HSC early Sat. morning since we are only traveling from Lynchburg which is about 35-40 miles.  I can't wait either.  You're right, it will be one of the best games of the year.  If HSC wins the conference and gets into the playoffs and BC doesn't?  Guess who I'm pulling for? HSC!

No love lost between HSC and BC.  That is true.  Let's quit the talk and play the game.  I think BC will be allright.  We've actually played some competition.  HSC hasn't.  We'll smoke them.  48-35! Done deal!  Next!
