If you guys are worried about gas money to Salem, we'll find a way to take care of that.
sounds like a "special benefit" and ncaa violation to me...someone alert compliance :)
Oops!  I take it back.

Thats not a violation. It contributing to the cause for a great time. Fire Pit, Something Grilled, Beverage of Choice, and a Nat'l Championship Game. What could be better? Well, other than having the Lexington, KY Hooters waitresses serving it up.  ;D

It wouldn't be a violation if it went to Jon. He would have concluded his tenure with the team by then.

I better stay out of this.  I was simply trying to be nice.  Didn't think about it really.  I would NEVER do anything that causes a problem.   Enough said.

I know nobody would bet against Bridgewater this weekend, but Catholic might surprise people this weekend. The Cards have just one conference win, but have been capable of winning each game during the last series. Against HSC, CUA was driving to tie the game when it ran out of time, and against W&L the Cards lost the game after some great last minute plays from the W&L offense. Certainly BC didn't blow out or tremendously outplay either W&L or HSC, so I expect this week's game at Jopson to be a close one. I'm not predicting that Catholic will win, but I know this game will be a lot more competitive than BC-CUA games over the last 2 years.

Muchacho,

I think you are right.  I am looking forward to seeing Bublavi in action.  If you are coming to the game, I hope you will get to see our Marcus and Co.  If not, watch Winston Young and our other backs, no slouches in the first five RBs.

I think CU will give BC just enough to keep us nervous, but in the end it may be something like

BC  51
CU  35

Don't get upset that Coach Clark may keep the starters in a little while longer.  This is the last gearup before the playoffs.

Should be an explosive game.

GO BC!

BC Class of '81

GCOL

I think you're right muchacho.  The game will be very competitve, and has the potential to be a highscoring game.  I don't doubt CUA will play good but I also have to pick BC.

BC  49
CUA 35

just to keep em both on the 7's

Muchacho,

I think I'll have to disagree.  I think we blow this thing wide open in the first quarter and won't give them any chances of getting it close.  I'd say at least a 21 point win if not more.

Again, my 2 cents but what do I know......

How to Tailgate!  That's what I know!!!!

Hug

It won't be close.  See you guys in two weeks.  At Thiel (I hope the helll not) or at Ferrum (Who's bringing the Moonshine) or at Home (With a little help from our friends-Go Captains!)

I think GC needs to be careful. I think the last time they beat EH was about 4 years ago and they have had their number. You know some teams just have match up problems. Team A can smites team B which killed team C but team A gets knocked off by team C. Two of the EH and GC games I saw at EH were in the mud and snow and if a corner slips and falls bang you lose by 7. So if it is a dry field I like GC + 8 but history is not on their side.  OL Matthews of GC must block and block hard. Hopefully Vogelbach does not  transfer to a D1 AA or D2 school. Good luck GC-Q, smite the yellow helmets

Saw a couple posts in reference to the absence of W and L posters in recent days, and I thought I'd at least chime in one more time.  First of all, is it possible to have at least 4 WR's on first team All-ODAC, because there are several deserving candidates.

Furthermore, what about Freshman of the Year.

My extremely biased vote goes to Stuart Sitterson of W and L. Want some stats....ok:

5 Rushing TD's
12 Rec's, and 270 yds rushing.

11.5 PR avg, on 27 attempts, and 1 TD
34.0 KR avg, on 12 attempts, and 2 TD's, long 98
116.0/game all purpose yds

oh, and yeah, he played defense too, with 2 pass break ups as a defensive back.

Ok, I'm done here. W and L is about to win its 7th game in a season for the first time since I was in diapers, and the program is on the rise. Great season, and see you guys next yr.
