wrighthall220,
Didn't you get the memo?  They no longer teach timekeeping south of the Mason-Dixon line. ;D

I'll be there with bells on Skoal! (Unless I lose all my money and accidently get married at the casinos in Atlantic City on Friday night!  ;))  Goin shoppin for some Under Armor today...I hear it's gonna be nippy up 'ere...but I'm sure Stone Station can warm me right up!

GO BC!

Gal!  I wish I could have made it.  Circumstances have come up that won't allow me to be in attendance.  Sorry about that but I'll be listening online....that's if the feed doesn't crap out.  I've got 2 brothers of mine and my Dad coming by Saturday Morning.  Get the fire going, Shrimp boiled and chicken cooked.  You can bet we'll be there in Spirit!

I will be in Salem though in two weeks!!!!  Along with Llamaguy and many other BC fans!  Let's just make sure we'll playing in Salem in two weeks!!!

Go Hoover!!!  BC:  42 Wesley: 24

Since Kid is so concerned about the size of the Wesley D Line let's see how big BC's Offensive line is:
These totals are from  Game Day 2 Deeps in my BC vs RMC game program on Nov. 5 and may not take injuries since that time into consideration:
LT Matthew Capriani  6'3"    287 lbs.
LG Paul Getty              6'1"   274 lbs.
   C   Troy Burnett           6'2"   251 lbs.
RG  Nik Reese               5'11  312 lbs.
RT   Anthony Cotton     6'1     320 lbs.

If my math is correct the average BC starting O Lineman is about 6'1" or so and weighs 288.8 pounds. (Not including the Tight End). Kid has the Wesley starting D Line at 6'3" and 277 lbs. I am pretty sure.

Skoal

Fire it up with me and Kmac...pre game starts at 1150.

  BC's D Line on Nov. 5 was:

DE Carlton Morrison  6'4"    235 lbs.
DT Chuck Brown        6'0"    285 lbs.
NT Josh King              6'0"    238 lbs.
DE Rowdy Hoover      6'2"    252 lbs.

That is about a 6 foot 1 and a half inches and 252.5 pounds average.
Not sure if Rowdy or David Clements is starting but they are a very similar size and weight.

Jeremybozz

Wesley's O Line is certainly  bigger than BC's D Line but Wesley's best O Lineman is the 242 lb. Center.

Trenches

But I believe that center is all-conference. So saying he's the weak point bc of his size might not be the way to go.

I didn't say he was the weak point I said he was the best (he happens to be the  lightest.)

Hey BC Sports Writer, Pat was talking about playing Hold Em in Atlantic City...

Only place near Newark, DE to gamble is Delaware Park, but that is slots only, no table games yet in Delaware...

Pat, I never knew you were a Philly guy...does that mean you bleed Eagle green as well???

Interesting read in the DNR today about Lewis' take on being demoted to 2nd string QB.

I didn't realize Lewis has another year of eligibility.

BTW,

I just wanted to add that I've been impressed with the DNR's coverage of Bridgewater football the past several weeks.  I know a local tv station, WHSV TV-3, mentioned this past weekend that the Eagles hadn't gotten much press this season...and maybe that was because JMU was getting so much following its national title season, but with JMU out of the picture, there's been an article just about every day the past several weeks about BC football.

If any of the DNR staff read this, I just wanted to say thanks, that I've enjoyed reading the numerous stories this season, and to keep up the good work!

Some of my thoughts for this upcomming game: Marcus has not exploded yet in the playoffs and Winston has had the one good game against W&J. I look for one of them to step up and make some big plays this game for BC to get the Win. Looking at the stats, the Wesley defense appears to be the easiest (by that I do not mean easy) compared to the previous 2 playoff opponents' defense. So I am definately looking for the offense to put up some points on the scoreboard. I think the game may come down to special teams, as most good hard fought games do. Both teams seem to block lots of kicks, but I think Awkward is in a groove right now and will make another big play.

My prediction
BC 38
wesley 34

Gal

24 hours and 42 minutes until kickoff! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
(that's my Rick Flair impression  :P)

Looking foward to an awesome weekend in D'ware. Sorry to hear that you're not coming Skoal! I had my flip flops and socks already packed.

GO BC!

Mad props to Gal for making a Ric Flair reference...

And Wesley needs to keep in mind what Flair always would say, and its true in this case...

"In order to be the Man, you've got to beat the Man, WOOOOOOOOO!"
