Lets hope Jermaine gets on somewhere. It will open those doors his peers are looking around. I got to think SS for him. Hat bringer...Anyway he gets in and could start a flood of players for the rest that got step. Good luck Kid for yourself and rest.

wow....more chat about politics here than about football...it must be the off-season...I'm guessing that if any politician ever played football he/she was never on the defensive side of the ball...all politicians are offensive

As a rule, this is true.  An example is seen at: http://politicalgraveyard.com/occ/pro-sports.html     ...one does not see a lot of defensive players...

But this list omits one name...because he ain't dead yet.

Alan Page of the Vikings "Purple People Eaters" defensive line was elected to the Minnesota Supreme Court in 1993, and still is a member of that court.

Lest I be acussed of being a liberal without a sense of humor...

I'm sure that most folks know by now that WWJD stands for "What would Jesus Drive?". The obvious answer can be found in the book of Acts where it states that the Apostles were "assembled in one Accord" :D  OK, peace out!
Bumper sticker seen around Greensboro:  What Would Scoobie Do?   Also, a comedian asked the question, "If (when) Jesus comes back, will he have to wear a bracelet that says WWID, "What Will I Do?"  :)  Peace.

There were probably a few BC football hats on the sidelines at the Hula Bowl as quite a few members of the BC athletic training program were invited to be the trainers for the game. I know one of the trainers was interviewed for what I think was a documentary of some sort.  I didnt see the game.  did any of the D III players do anything?

CBE

A quick 10-yard TD pass from Linfield's Brett Elliott to Marshall gave the East a 10-7 lead and capped a five-play, 76-yard drive.

I've finally gotten around to creating a Blog for my BC web site.  It's a chance for me to post news, rumors and opinions, and for you all to comment.  I'll have it linked off the top of the main page of BridgewaterFootball.com soon.

I like the latest ring design!  Thanks for posting the pic Kid!

bcsportswriter,
Thanks for the info on the trainers.  That is quite a trip and must have been a blast.  Were the trainers selected for any particular reason?

Besides Bridgewater, what team in the ODAC is going to be any good next year ?
I'm a Tiger fan, don't see them being any better than 3rd in the conference since they play at Bridgewater and at W&L. Is E&H going to be any better ? Will Guilford challenge Bridgewater for the title ? How about Mr. Ricca and his boys up in DC; do they have a chance in 06 ? I don't think RMC is going to challenge for awhile but they seem to more athletic and motivated than they have been in recent years. Give me some feed back. I'm a new poster so be nice !!!

I think Guilford is going to be tough next year.  W&L always plays against BC very well.  I remember sweating bullets in 2001 when we had to get the win in overtime and that was the year we went to the Stagg Bowl.  Catholic needs to develop more of a running game so their passing game is more effective, but their passing game can light up the skies!!  It could be a lot more difficult than most of us would like to imagine.
