PS  Where are Gal and Olinemom by the way?
Gal discontinued her internet months ago (and she has a new bf), and from what I've heard, olinemom is boycotting Bridgewater athletics.  The latter is just a rumor.
Olinemom was kidnapped by the Keebler Elves for stealing their cookie market in the Bridgewater area...
Funny.  She'll be fine as long as they have DirecTV.  What's the ransom by the way?
Ok, 'Nova, 'fess up,

We know you kidnapped Olinemom until after the BC/GC game.  You think that without her brownies, the oline will falter and Highfill will get killed by your defense.  But it won't work, we'll find her before the game and your diabolical scheme will be for naught.

And shame on you for trying to frame those cute little Keebler elves.

Hey, wrighthall220 is the one trying to implicate the Keebler elves!  I was trying to pin it on frat boys at Sydney!  You are correct, however, it is part of a diabolical master plan for complete world domination - no, to heck with that, let's go for cosmic domination!  First, we want to be the best football team in our neighborhood (we did beat Greensboro last year lol), then the ODAC, then d3, then the world and finally, the ultimate conquest, space and beyond!  Just as Lex Luther was trying to zap Superman with some Kryptonite, Quakerman is using Brownyite on The Eagle!  lol  Good fun, guys, thanks for the laugh!

Nova has a point.. the Elves are all MALE are the not...  Maybe this is an attempt by the HSC boys to get back on the ODAC map now that Ricca is gone... :D

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Catholic University is investigating its women's lacrosse program after photos were posted on the Internet allegedly showing a male stripper at a freshman initiation party.

"If the evidence demonstrates that any of our current students willingly participated in these activities, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken," athletic director Michael Allen said in a statement.
Allen said that neither he nor coach Kristine Manning was aware of the party until Wednesday morning. He said an investigation began immediately.

"The president and I will meet with all the coaches at the university to discuss additional measures and policies that we can implement to ensure that in the future this kind of deplorable situation does not occur with any of the students at The Catholic University of America," the statement said.

The photos were posted on a Web site under the heading "Catholic University Women's Lacrosse Initiation Party 2006." The site doesn't say when or where the party was held.
Earlier this week, Northwestern suspended its women's soccer team after a Web site displayed pictures of alleged hazing at a party.

Wow problems at CUA [women's lacrosse]...

...and Quinnipiac University baseball, University of California, Santa Barbara lacrosse, Wake Forest women's volleyball, Fordham University softball, Elon University baseball, Fairleigh Dickinson softball, Kenyon College baseball, Princeton University cheerleading, Union College women's soccer, and University of Michigan men's lacrosse.

And those are just some of the programs that were dumb enough to take pictures of the hazings.  Unfortunately, that stuff happens everywhere.  I'm certainly not condoning it, but when looking at the pictures, it really just looks like college students being responsibly irresponsible, and nothing more.

So ... what would happen if a team of strippers threw a party and invited one lacrosse player?

muchacho

Was it a black lacrosse player at an upscale strip club?

Somehow, I don't think the stripper in this case will press charges!! ::)

I agree with Kid.  I think this is just college kids being responsibly irresponsible.

Slow News day?  Where is TO or Rasheed Wallace when you need them!  ;D

Is it me or are college students today just down right stupid. The first thing I learned when I went to Emory was to keep my mouth shut about parties and not to publish photographs of said party. Moreover, cameras were never allowed anywhere near places where "women of the night" are going to be in attendance. (never been to such a place, heard of them though:) Furthermore I also learned to use words such as "team building" instead of "hazing". A good remedy to the current situation on college campuses would be some good old fashioned "team building". The kind that involves wood and backsides.

I bet this kind of thing never happened during Pat Coleman's time on the Catholic campus. If it was a public school and not Catholic would it get the same scrutiny?

Pat Coleman

A fellow alumnus and I were talking about that earlier today. Kids have changed a bit in a decade, I think.

In the for what it is worth column:

Birmingham Southern looks to move from D1 to DIII for $$$$ reasons.   The student don't like it.

If they add football it could make travel easier and maybe prompt some more GA schools to look to DIII.
