hi all. I am new this, but I played with forma80 back in the day at W&L.  ODAC looks solid this year (esp the boys from Lex).  looking foward to some interesting conversations.

By the way, I believe your penultimate sentence, "Not to shabby eh?", should have been written as "Not too shabby, eh?"   This corrected rendering is also giving you the benefit of the doubt for there being no subject and no verb.   What do I know, however, since I earned a degree from an ODAC college and a graduate degree from an SEC university and they are both not, sadly, W&L?  lol  Peace    

Now, now. Do you realize the bandwidth that would be wasted if we policed all the typo-grammar errors on a board like this?  I enjoy jabbing the BCOC posters, and they take the bait every single time.  We are just days from some football now, so we need to focus and get ready for the real jawboning and if, and I mean if.......there may not be enough bandwidth to handle it.



BTW do you know how to tell if a Bridgewater player has a girlfriend?

Good luck to the Gennies as well, I can only hope they are undefeated with one of the "Top Ranked" defenses in the country when they get to Jopson again this year.

I love the "Chess message board" comment.  If I had the time to check www.wlu.edu, I would probably find one.

BTW, do you think we could get Larry the cable guy to be the official spokesman for BC?  That would be as funny as Orville Redenbacher as W&L's spokesman.

That's actually great news, seeing that I thought Kyle Beach (K) and Colin Owens (P) would be our kickers this year ... but it only means we have really strong legs if Luke Taylor (K) and Scott Ruebush (P) beat them out for the starting spots this Saturday.

Larry as a spokesman for a college? That might be a little too uppity for Larry. I think he would prefer to be the official spokesman for something like a Bait and Tackle or a Waffle House.

#1 is usually good for a few posts about this time of year, regardless of how HSC is doing or expected to do. Not a lot of buzz from the Tigers this year at all.

I'm afraid they're long gone.  We had only three to begin with, and this is their activity log;

And norton just reads now, seeing he stopped posting since he joined the Catholic football staff in December of 2005.

So yeah, I'm afraid we'll have no Tigers posting unless they come to Bridgewater and beat us.  Then they'll come out.

Llama, please take a picture of the away stands. I'd like to compare to the BC turn out. Of course I will have to adjust the attendance numbers:

minus 20% because its a Thursday evening game
minus 20% becasue of the weather
plus 20% because Catholic is still undefeted

Here's an updated 2006 Guilford roster with jersey numbers.  I see some missing names from last year, including Taylor Baker and Scottie Byrd, among others, and I no longer see freshman Brandon Johnson from Bassett, VA.  He was also recruited for basketball, so I wonder if he's decided two sports is too much?

I always knew there were a lot of BC fans on this board ... but I had to see how 'bad' it was.  So here is a list of who has posted from what schools in the last month on here...
