Great article but who had the brilliant idea to have a ball kicked toward their camera?!?!?  :D

I'm sorry, wrighthall220, I can't tell who this is.  To what article are you referring?  I'd like to read it.  Thanks.

Welcome to my world when I filmed the tight version from the end zone in 2000 and 2001.  I dreaded extra points and field goals.

That's true.. some of us used to watch you and not the extra point just to see your dance moves.  :D   But we both know that tower is a better place to be over that back hallway.. that sucker is small when there's a football flying at you!

wrighthall220 - thanks for the link

Speaking of kickers, I'm not sure where Jason Yow (#26) fits in the Guilford depth chart, but I noticed him during a few practices I saw.  Jason attended Greensboro Page HS and was on NC A&T's team last season as a freshman.  Jason has one arm and I'm not at all sure what the circumstances are behind that, but he seems like a good guy and a good kicker.  I hope he has a great season!

The Racquetball room (10 ft. away) would have made for a much better picture.

The last time I was in that hall the one racquetball court was a locker room and the other was being used by the trainers.

After working construction or farming (or both in my case), finishing your degree seems like the right idea!  Good luck to Mr. Beach!

Any time I see ideas about the field and stadium being upgraded I always think how nice it would be to have the locker rooms updated.  The main locker room is ok but many times players get stuck in the Track Locker room (which is hotter than hell) and other corners.  I would love to see it upgraded as they're used on a daily basis. :)   My high school locker room was the only thing worse than the BC locker rooms.. at one point during my JV seasone we had 3 guys to a locker.. talk about stink!  :D

I always knew there were a lot of BC fans on this board ... but I had to see how 'bad' it was.  So here is a list of who has posted from what schools in the last month on here...

So as you can see, Bridgewater has had 18 people post ... with the rest of the ODAC having a total of 16.  Everyone has had at least one rep, but the H-SC one has only posted once (ever).

Ok, I can't hold off any longer.  May the next 4 months of addiction commence!

Catholic has not won the opening game of the season since 1998, which is hopefully a streak that will be broken tonight. It will be interesting to see how Catholic comes out under Coach Dunn. He seems determined to have a much more balanced offense than what Catholic has had over the previous 2 years. However, the offensive line has been bare the last few seasons, and it will be interesting if they can put something together, because they have talented backs.  With only 3 seniors on the roster, of which just 1 is an impact player, it won't be surprising if Catholic continues to struggle. However, they were getting closer to being back last season, and hopefully Coach Dunn doesn't miss a beat.

To quote a pretty old SI article  "It's not over till it's Dunn"   maybe CUA can adopt this mantra!  :)  Good luck to CUA tonight!

You know, each year I get older I think I'll grow out of this stuff.  But......you're right, let it commence!

Oh, and welcome back!

Well, it really doesn't do anything for the people who are already posting.  That's preaching to the choir, so to speak.  lol  It does, to some degree, however, help illuminate many of the poll results.  Personally, I look at all the results with a grain of salt because, as someone who's had a lot of statistical training, I know they aren't from samples that are statistically valid cross-sections.  Don't misunderstand me, I fully commend the BC fans for being faithful posters - I wish all schools were so knowledgeable and vocal! - but it does tend to skew the poll results.  Don't you agree?  Peace
