No not with Jack Danials. That's Skoal

I meant the grade requirements to get in the ODAC. I do not think they are easy by any stretcg.  I know WL and GC are tough and the rest are not ECU when it come to recruiting in regards to grades.

Ney! I want W&L at full strength next weekend when they roll into Jopson. Hasanova you'all can beat them this week, just don't hurt them so there are no excuses come October 28th. ;)
If we sprain a few pinkie fingers, they're toast!  Or are they in a jam?  Or is that one lump or two?  Darn, I can never remember!  :)

WLU78

Well I wasn't worried until I read about the ground game for GC and now the injury reports for the W&L running game.   I don't have any doubts that the Generals are NOT looking past the Quakers, and they will be ready.

Generals 28
Quakers 21

Have a safe weekend everybody and I will be back Monday immodest, classless, and irreverent as ever.  Heck Hasa I may use some bad grammar and poor spelling to keep you on your toes!

I'll be ready.  If I'm not, I'm sure many of these other orthographically-gifted posters will spell me.  The pun was absolutely intended, I might add.  :)  Peace

There once was a General grad
Who had all the things Daddy had
He said, "Lafite '89
Is a really nice wine
For a postgame repast when I'm sad!"

At the game he will yell "root-rootie"
Blowing blue-blooded horns "toot-tootie"
When his team cannot score
He'll say, "Wine I adore -
Like frat boys, it's really cute fruity!"

Are you ready for some football? :)

Look what I miss when I have to grade papers?  Poetry, no less and bantering with the likes of gentlemen from W&L.  Now I personally know that the last great QB from W&L is so bright (and nice and wonderful and many more adjectives) that he was admitted EARLY DECISION to UVA med school.  I think that is impressive.  Not only that but he was Pitcher of the Year and played Valley League ball for my team.  Whenever we played them, I was always worried about Peter beating us almost singlehandedly.  This week's game and next week's game should be great contests.  Just my 2 brownies worth.  Did I say how much I liked Peter Dean?  Probably not nearly enough!!  Oh, and Hasa and WLU78 I karmalized both of you just moments ago.

This might change some of our opinions of this weekend's W&L/GC game...

QuoteGenerals' tailbacks hobbled
Washington and Lee puts its five-game winning streak on the line against Guilford.

By Mark Berman - Roanoke Times

Washington and Lee could be without its top two tailbacks for Saturday's important home game with Guilford.

Coach Frank Miriello said Wednesday that starting tailback Stuart Sitterson is doubtful with a bruised shin, and backup Tom Pacicco is doubtful with a sprained ankle.

Both were hurt in last weekend's win over Hampden-Sydney. Sitterson leads the Generals (5-1, 3-0 ODAC) in rushing yards (320) and catches (26).

Jordan Campbell, a junior without a carry this season, will start if Sitterson and Pacicco are sidelined.

Miriello said V-back Colton Ward, who suffered a strained hamstring last weekend, is only 75 percent healed but will play Saturday.

And you trust him to announce the truth about his players' availability.  Cotillions, maybe, Peter Dean most definitlely, but I don't trust Miriello farther than I can throw him and I'm recovering from a broken shoulder and broken arm.  And Mark Berman is the champion of negativity.  Never trust anything that (gosh,I can't think of a socially acceptable word here-help me out) jerk writes EVER!!

olinemom - Thanks for the "brownie" points.  I also wondered about W&L's injury report, but I'm sure the Quakers are preparing as those all those gentlemen will play.  Even if 75%, those guys are pretty good!

There once was a General who bantered
His gait - like a thoroughbred cantered!
But what he loved most
Was his post-banter toast
We heard all his beer was decantered!
