Any final on the HSC-Catholic game?

Thanks

Wow!  The King is dead!  Long live the King!

I actually saw 2 guys at the WL-GC-Q game (on web) with bow ties.

WL looks like a real deal with that secondary. Nice blocking up front GC. :( Could have been a sieve either way.

They will get pounded in the playoffs in the first round. Eagle feathers all over the place too. :-\

Did not realize Vogie had such a hitch in his throw. He gets it there.

Charlie Omick looks like a good candidate for player of the week.

onlinemom...perhaps your 2 losses will not bother you at the end.

Poor PLU
LINFIELD has them by the neck in the early 4th 41-7

WOW!!!!

It's been a while since I've posted, but what an interesting day in the ODAC.  Congrats W&L looks like the D was a little to tough for us today.  Congrats ECH, I truely didn't see that comming but way to go.

It sure was great getting to meet all the BC folks last weekend when they came down.  Kid, Llama Guy, and Olinemom I'm sure I'll see you guys soon.  I might have to come to the Stagg bowl if for no other reason then to get another one of those brownies. ;)  Like I said at the game last weekend, if I got those brownies on a Monday during film, we would have won a lot more games when I was playing, lol.

Congrats to the Wasps. BC fans have been able to celebrate on the final drive many times over the past 6 years and for a split second I thought Copeland might come up with it in the End Zone but it was not to be. Good luck to E&H the rest of the way and BC will try to get a win over W&L next week.

Llamaguy

I to would like to congratulate E&H and W&L. Great gameplans, great execution. It will be interesting to see how BC handles a W&L team on a roll.

This BC guy will definitely be backing the ODAC rep regardless of who it is in the playoffs! ;)

Just to give BC fans a little hope ... it's still "possible" to win the ODAC and make it to the playoffs.

Here are the ODAC standings after this week:

1. WLU (4-0)
2. EHC (2-1)
3. H-SC (3-2)
4. GC (1-2)
4. BC (1-2)
4. CUA (1-2)
7. R-MC (0-3)

If the following happens over the next three weeks...

October 28, 2006
Catholic @ Emory & Henry
Guilford @ Randolph Macon
Washington & Lee @ Bridgewater

November 4, 2006
Bridgewater @ Randolph Macon
Catholic @ Guilford
Emory & Henry @ Washington & Lee

November 11, 2006
Bridgewater @ Catholic
Guilford @ Emory & Henry
Randolph Macon @ Hampden-Sydney

...then this is what the ODAC standings will look like at season's end:

1. BC (4-2)
2. WLU (4-2)
3. EHC (3-3)
3. H-SC (3-3)
3. GC (3-3)
3. CUA (3-3)
7. R-MC (1-5)

Trust me ... I know it's a stretch, but it's still "possible." :)

*Cue the fight song*... So rah rah for Emory and Henry.  Rah rah for Emory and Henry.  Rah rah for Emory. Rah rah rah!

Great win today Waspers.  Now its Catholic at home then on to W&L for what could be the ODAC Championship Game.  Ah, how sweet those words sound to my ears.

BC has excellent players, it just seems that they couldn't get it together for all 60:00.  Please beat the W&L Bow Ties next week to shake things up a little.

Pat, how many points do you have us as underdogs for next week?  I don't think 55 was quite enough.

Pat Coleman

Emory & Henry 6
Bridgewater 5 (10 innings)

Looks like Pat Cummings was fully aware E&H could win. But if you want to read selectively I guess you can make almost anything seem real.

It's not a matter of reading selectively Mr. Coleman.  I, along with several other alumni, interpreted those remarks to be very sarcastic.  I think it can honestly be said that nobody but those young men wearing blue and white Saturday thought Emory would win.

To all the BC faithful................KEEP YOUR HEADS UP!!!!! You guys have nothing to be ashamed of  your  teams have set standard that other teams in the ODAC hope to achive.Todays game could have gone either way.Today was just E&H's day.
You guys will rebound against W&L and show the rest of the ODAC that you are
still in the hunt.

Look's like Monty is the REAL DEAL and his players have finally bought into his
system. The WASP'S have to take it one game at a time now and focus on beating Catholic.

I've been quite on the board this year for reason's that I will get into at the end of the season. Until then you guys please continue your bantering, wit, and good natured sarcasm. I love it.

Selective interpretation, then.

I note one person in the ODAC pick-em took Emory & Henry -- Pat Cummings.
