Yes...but the egg came first!

Hell, I grilled like sh*t at the tailgate.  Just wasn't our day.

That's funny, right there.  :D
I too got a kick out of that comment.  It's not every Saturday we can bring our "A" Game to the Grill.

Someone from E&H has posted slides of Wasp fans tailgating in the early fall of 2005.  In three slides, you can clearly see a man in an E&H jersey flipping burgers and brats and assisting someone in lifting a beer cooler out of the back of an SUV.  Curiously, you don't see him in the second half of the season.  What's even more odd, it now looks as though the same man, this time wearing a BC jersey, was seen flipping 10 hamburgers and three cheeseburgers this fall at the BC/W&L game!  He said he had never grilled before, but he demonstrated a deft hand for a rookie.  Perhaps he didn't light the charcoal, make the burgers or slice the cheese, but would the patties have burnt if he hadn't flipped them?  He also didn't buy the beer, but he opened one and drank a toast to BC.  Where's my copy of the official cookbook, License to Grill?  Oh wait, I left it on the Stone Station trailer!  :)

hasanova,

Perhaps he's the same person who counted the attendance. :)

Funny Pat.

The grill joke was hilarious...love that sense of humor.

BC....might all this be Rowan/clock karma????

Told you it would come back around.

Could be - E&H attendance figures are legendary as well.  :)

Pre 2001, I'd say they were pretty close.

After that and having been to an average of 1.5 games a year since
then....I have been suspect of them as well.

Maybe that's a raw ticket count?

But....things are changing....as you well know.

Hey.....any Sydney folks on here know Joel Richardson??  Graduated
1993....played basketball during the Russell Turner era.

Perhaps,  but counting sold tickets might be a better way to go. :)

Based on my past relationship experience (and it is extensive) the guy doesn't even have to be talking to be wrong!!  ;D

not at the game, but i'm sure you're talking about the Cadaver symbol, which is the C with the skull in the middle. It is a secret organization whose members make contributions to the school throughout their lives. Current members usually make a late night entrance and paint said symbol on the field before every home game.
