As far as Wesley/Dickinson, I'll have to get back to you. I have a score but its in my handy-dandy playoff guide at home and I'm at work.

Since you made it up and we don't know what it is, couldn't you just make it up again and pretend it was the original?

Or do you do one of those funky computer-prediction jammies?

LOL! Actually I have a 64 page spread (2 pages for each team) with season stats, including the weather forecast. Now having said that, don't think my picks will be right! :o
Thats why they play the games. he,he. And yes I did pick a score for all 32 games so thats why I can't remember what it was for Wesley. I know I have them winning big, just can't remember how big. LOL!

And Sgt. Hulka isn't always gonna be here to be that big toe.

Doh!  How could I forget Stripes and Caddyshack?  How much plastic explosive does it take to take out a) gophers and b) the Berlin Wall?  I met Bill Murray once and got his autograph.  I still laugh when I think about him as the greenskeeper pretending he's at The Masters.   :)

Sorry to chime in so late, but I can post only when I am done my homework.  I love the picture of Murray from my favorite comedy, Stripes.  That is so hilarious.  I can't take anything with Jim Carrey so I have to skip those, but Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  what a classic!!  Love the translation of "Sauve qui peut" by "Run away".  Every minute of that was funny--especially when you are in Medieval French.  And to pick a third, it has to be Kelly's Heroes. "I can get 100 feet of bridge anywhere.  You don't want in, you don't get in."  Donald Southerland playing someone surely from the Vietnam War era in the WWII heist flick and seeing Don Rickles trying to get somebody, anybody to carry his stuff.  Barbara/Babera, too many moments to mention them all

While I'm posting, best of luck to the Gennies, our ODAC reps.  Only wish that it were Peter Dean quarterbacking, because selfishly he is my favorite W&L player bar none.  However, I have a sentimental favorite, Emmitt Rankin,  my best friend,Ann's grandfather, who was captain of the 1913 (could be off a year or 2) football team. She has the football to prove it too.  He died in the Pandemic Flu 1918-1920 that circled the globe.

All the best to CNU, our other Va. rep.  Congrats on getting a home game.  You deserve it.  Go get'em.  I would love to come, but the talented nephew(14 going on 40 yrs old) is singing in a talent contest Saturday evening and guess who gets to go and cheer him on?  The first million guesses don't count.   :( :( :(  Why can't they just stop doing those dumb things during football season.  And why do I still respond to my Mother's guilt at my advanced age?  Oh well,  bring back some wins, guys!!! ;D ;D

I won't make it.  And I can't speak for the three other General posters on this board.  I will follow the game on WLUR this Sat.  I can't say I know what to expect.  I think the first game and last game losses were not really indicators of the team's ability.  I think the loss to BC was due to BC emotion than game plan by W&L.  (see UGA over AU this past Sat)  All I know is that it is almost time for CC sports!

Wow...way to explain away just about every flaw from a 7-3 playoff team.  I suppose we'll see the Generals in Salem with that logic.

I doubt it, but I suppose stranger things have happened somewhere, sometime.  I would certainly make beaucoup brownies.  But with WW, MUC, UMHB, Wesley, it doesn't look good.  I feel BAD FOR CORTLAND STATE while I'm at it. :(

One point that won't be discussed but might hold some merit is that this Wesley team has not lost on the new turf since its instalation. Might be a little more motivation as the playoffs wear on

My prediction is that Wesley won't be tested on that turf until UMHB comes to town in Round #3. ;)

Well I found my notes. :D

I see Dickinson's pass game as being non-existent as Robinson and co. will bring pressure like Torchia has never seen before while in the CC. Dickinson may get about half their average rushing, ~80 yrds and their best feat of the day is that they may sack Warrick once or twice. Final score: Wesley 45 Dickinson 10

Does anyone know why we're one of only a couple conferences that wait a week after the regular season ends to release the All-Conference selections?

Our Conference is extremly slow and horrible at picking all conference

Ahh ... recruiting season is in full swing ...

Already an article out about someone lookinat BC (click here).  It's also neat that his track coach is a former all-conference punter and wide receiver for BC - Von Lewis.

If I remember correctly, you're one of the few conference that picks its team with a face to face meeting rather than a ballot.

And the 1st Team selection goes to??

Dr. xGSC

Skoal Bro,

Long time no post. What's happening? Hard to believe that BC is not in the playoffs this year. How's the outlook for the future?

I'm (almost) ashamed to admit it, but Pee Wee's Big Adventure was on cable last night and I watched the entire hour and a half!  Sort of like Ted (the beer guy) staying 2 minutes past 5 - on a FridayTequila! :)

Yes the ODAC is a conference that elects by face to face meetings. That is why it takes them so long to get it done.
