Haven't seen anything in print yet, but I heard on the radio this morning that Jeff Highfill (BC QB) was named to the Academic All-America First Team.

Congrats to Jeff!!

Who tailgates at Wesley this weekend? I am a former OAC fan just coming to Wesley this saturday,,just like to meet some of you,, read you guys all  the time,,any one from Va area going,,

I'm looking at fixing that as we will soon be offering service in Farmville!  Can you say "Fiber?" Already doing it for Southside Community Hospital.  ;D

Stone Station will be present. Look for the Grey Expedition with the Stone Station banner hanging in the back. I've heard there may be a guest appearance by the esteemed Pat Cummings & Kmack. We will be in the field across from the ticket entrance endzone @ 10 am. See you there. ;)

Yep I shall! This is will be the one year anniversary of our trip to Dover last year. I believe it will be a bit warmer this go round but will be windy as always. ;)

Under the category of "interesting trivia I never knew," I want to share something I spotted in the Fall 2006 Guilford College Magazine (News for Alumni and Friends) I received today.   There was a picture of Steve Wilmot '83, tournament director of the PGA tour's Verizon Heritage, presenting a Guilford football helmet to CBS Sports broadcaster Jim Nantz.  It seems Nantz's father, James Nantz Jr. '49, played football at Guilford.
