Roll Call!  Who's going to be present at Stone Station?  I need a head count as to better plan.  SnakeHandler? You coming? Who else?  Just talked to Llamaguy and we are going to blow this one out!!!!  If you can't beat them on the football field, then join them in the parking lot.

skoal and llama, I'm "hopeful" to be there.  I'll give you an update early next week.  Thanks to all for doing such a fantastic job with this!

Hot damn that's a high paced offense.  ;)
No time, no read any post!  Are you coming to the Stagg Bowl?  It's practically in your backyard.  I sure hope so.  We are planning a real great tailgate as the game doesn't start until 4 pm.  Do try, the brownies will be good, I promise and so will Llamaguy and Skoal's chicken!!

olinemom.....Hope you are feeling better!!  :) Was wondering if there is anything I can bring to Salem? Not sure you would want me to cook anything. Might scare all your guest off.  ;D I'd certainly be willing to bring something to contribute to the cause if needed.

GO AMHERST LANCERS...BEAT LOUISA!!!
Allsky7: Stone Station will be making a visit to Williams Stadium to watch Amherst County.  Nothing like a State Final to help get geared up before the Stagg Bowl.  I'm sure you're going.  We need to catch up!

skoal.....I will be there Sat. to cheer for the Lancers. I plan to go catch at least part of the Rockbridge/Richlands game which starts at 12:30. What time and where is SS going to set up? BTW.....did you invite Brother Jerry to SS for a brat and brewski?  ;D After all, he owns the joint.

Roocru are you'all flying or driving? There are a group of us coming in on Friday afternoon. We are planning a post patterns get together at a local sports bar to watch the D1-BCS Championship game and socialize on Friday evening. All are welcome. I'll post where we are meeting once its nailed down. So far the options are The All Sports Bar or Hooters in Roanoke.

Skoal,
What is the name of the other place you mentioned?

Does anyone with local Salem/Roanoke knowledge know which of these would be better for a crowd of 15-20 people? Thanks in advance. ;)

Llamaguy:  Corn (ed) Beef & Company.  Last time I was there, they had an upstairs with multiple Big Screen TV's and Leather couches.  This would be my first choice as last time I was there it was crazy!  Three different dance floors and some great apps!  Not sure of the exact location but I know it's downtown near "The Market."  Armed with that, you should be able to find it.  Rock and Roll as the SkoalTrain will be in Salem early Saturday Morning setting up shop!

Sky: Look for the Stone Station Flag on about a 20ft pole over a maroon Tahoe.  Brats, Dogs, and a cold Coke! ;) Dr. Jerry doesn't roll like that....But I do!!! ETA 3:00 p.m.  Plan to save my spot Friday Night before the game.  Right near the front enterance of Williams Stadium.  Got the starting QB from the last Amherst Co. State Champs (1995) coming to the tailgate.  He said he's mad as he want to be the only QB in Amherst Co. history to win a state title.  I'm working on him.....It's an honor to share.....

Llamaguy? Sure you can't make it?  We're going to have a good time.

107 Jefferson St. Roanoke  540-342-3354  Corned Beef & Co is nice place with lots of room. It can get kinda crowded sometimes and becomes somewhat a meat market later in the evening. Haven't been in a while but that's how it used to be anyway.

skoal....I will be inside watching the Rockbridge/Richlands game. I will try to sneak out for a bit at some point to say hello. You do know the Lancers play at 4:00. Hey...work on your QB friend there. We don't want him putting a curse on the 2006 Lancers.  ;D
