Quel hôtel?  What hotel?  ¿Qué hacienda?  Enough languages to get an answer?  And jacketlawyer, it had better be equal opportunity oggling or there's a lawsuit coming ;D ;D ;D

OF COURSE.  We want to be fair to all concerned! ;D

Corned Beef and Co is solid.  Easy to get to downtown, and it's actually got multiple TV's downstairs, not upstairs.  If you go there, it'll be real easy for the bigwig D3football.com guys to be there...plenty of parking on the street available, we tend to go every year anyway...their wood-fired pizza is real good too.

Another good alternative is Mac & Bob's right on the main drag in Salem, practically across the street from Roanoke College.  Many, MANY TVs.  Sports bar crowd scene.  Muy bueno. 8)

As for the meat market scene at CB&C, a little ogling is good for the soul.

Oh yes it is!!  :P Spent the day down at Longwood U ogling.....uh.... I mean on business and my 43 year old soul is quite soothed.  ;D

I am, of course, coming.  Can't wait.  Having been given a new lease on life, I am planning on enjoying the Stagg Bowl and seeing all my d3 friends.  I know where the Texas connection is staying.  Where is everybody else staying?  After all the partying that is . . .

If the weather stays like it is, everyone elses ears will be blue too.  ;D After the game I will be making the trip either to my GF's place in Franklin Co. or back home to my mountain paradise in Amherst County. SOOOO....I will have to keep the beverage consumption to a moderate level.  :'( It's a long cab ride and I sure don't want to spend the night in the pokey.  :(
BTW olinemom...was just up your way yesterday on business. Had an appointment with the Dayton PD and was over in the Funkhouser Center at BC.

And you couldn't drop by Flory Hall.  My office suite (not) is on the floor above President Stone's office.

SORRY!!  Didn't know where you were.  :-[

Thank goodness for La Salle.  They connect a lot of Division III to Division I-A.

Yeah, sorry ... I thought I had thrown the link up there.

Looks like everybody got some use out of it.

MUC to USC ... nice!

Along with LaSalle, those I-AAs like Butler and Valpo(?) who actually lost to teams from D3 helped us out a bunch too.

Yes Sir!

Stone Station will be present. Look for the Grey Expedition with the Stone Station banner hanging in the back. I've heard there may be a guest appearance by the esteemed Pat Cummings & Kmack. We will be in the field across from the ticket entrance endzone @ 10 am. See you there. ;)

Esteemed?

Sweet!

So, uh, who's going to be in Alliance this week?

Was pretty cool meeting the ex-MUC coach at your tailgate at Wesley, Stone!

Looking forward to the 4 p.m. kickoff at the Stagg Bowl this year too. Heck yeah!

Went to Corned Beef in '97 with the R-MC crew who was at the Stagg Bowl to fill in the 12 leftover volunteer slots for the NCAA clinic the next morning.

Safe to say the place hasn't changed much.

I like to triple my cholesterol intake with one of those egg-burgers at Texas Tavern after hours as well.

Used to stay at the same hotel for a journalism thing every year ... people thought I was nuts when I showed them that spot, but they ended up loving it.

I'll be getting down to Salem on Friday evening.

Hopefully I'll be able to get in on a room with someone ... anyone still flying solo?  (double beds, of course)

Sorry I haven't had a chance to email Kmack! I'll be counting on you for the call this weekend. I'm going to be cleaning the grill, getting the chicken ready, etc for the Stagg and my daughter is performing at the JMU halftime show.

I agree it was cool meet a member of Mt. Union's innersanctum. No doubt why the Purple Power from Alliance is as good as they are. He is a class act and great to conversate with. Hopefully others will get to meet him at the Stagg (if they win Saturday ;)), although Stone Station will be competing with the Mt. Union Tented Tailgate. LOL!

Would that be Valporaiso (sp)?  I've enjoyed seeing the chains on all the different boards.  Sure had a lot of people capable of beating USC before UCLA did it!!  Maybe it doomed their Karma?

Ok everybody.....GROUP HUG!!  ;D Just got back from Daily Dose. WOW!! All the smack talk is getting old. Glad to see Keith & Co. whacking some of the knuckleheads over there. Guess I'm just an old school guy from the days when there was real respect between competitors and/or fans. I know it still exist but sometimes it sure doesn't seem like it.

ONE MORE TIME.....GOOOOOOOO LANCERS!!!

Is it me or do the "erectile dysfunction" ads in the middle of the front page seem a little, (how do I phrase this?) out of place?

Just wondering, I know Pat has to pay bills and all, but........... ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
