Pak,
Sounds like if you come down you will be amoungst friends from both BC and Green Bay land. Non Lambeau weather though, 55 and sunny. Perfect tailgating weather. Can't wait til those Saturday Night lights come on!!!

Man.... it's going to be almost hot Sat. I was planning to be decked out in my finest camo.  ;D May have to wear shorts instead.  :D I'm sure once those lights come on it will start to chill down a bit though.

Wear that camo man! I'll have mine on. That is part of my gameday uni! Camo pants and BC jersey and if UPS does there thing I'll have a little twist on my hands to support my favorite NFL team as well. ;)

Wear the camo.  All the Wisconsinites will feel right at home.   ;D

You are absolutely right Pak. We all know it takes more than 2 or 3 people to Tailgate BC & D3 style. Hug knows he is a founding father and without the parents, alumni and student fans, Stone Station would be a much smaller place. The other huge player at Stone Station is Peggy Irwin who captures all our fun weekly and I heard will be bringing those little plastic jello cups again this year.

When people ask why I help with such an expansive tailgate weekly? I always say "it's much more fun when you are not partying alone, LOL!"

The Stone Station pub is great but less remember we are the undercard here. Looking forward to Purple everywhere and to a great game on Saturday.

Good Luck to Mt. Union & Whitewater! The undisputed No. 1 & 2 teams in the country all season long. ;)

Llama, you just reminded me of what for me is an extreme irony.  Cheeseheads from Wisconsin wearing purple.  Yuck!

Where is that CNU85?

I think this is going to be a great game.  I wouldn't bet big money either way.  The Gods of D3 against a vengeful team that beat the #3 team in the country in a blowout.  Who ya gonna pick people?

I won't make my decision until gametime.  But I can't believe I would ever be stupid enough to bet against MUC in ANY playoff game.  As far as who I want to win, I respect MUC, but think I will pull for my fellow Cheeseheads.  Hell, if I go to the game, I will probably even wear mine!  What a sight THAT will be!
Pak, now you've just gotta come!!  It will be too warm for a Xmas party anyway.  How could anyone have a Xmas on Stagg Bowl weekend?  Bring the family and have a good time.  Ask Llama about the   family wedding   he missed this year so he could lead us down at Ferrum and boy did we need him!!!

Llama, I hope one of those fabulous tickets has my name on them.  Pretty please with breakfast and brownies on top!!!  I am cleaning Codi's out on Friday morning and bringing all her goodies down for the morning pickup as we get ready for the tailgate.  I figure we all will have liquid refreshments on hand and I don't do coffee.   ;D ;D ;D  Looking forward to The Corned Beef and Co.  Have you heard anything from 70'sraider, Skunks_sidekick or Theaprof?  Sure hope they are coming down early!! The 2 Crus are staying in Salem too.  Back to my tests.  I'm ready for the throw them down the stairs except for several things:
1) I don't have any stairs
2) I would probably be what falls down the stairs and the papers would sit at the top and lol at me .  Been there and done that too many times to count!!
3)  what I said in #2

Peggy and Lauren have said they would rather go to the game also.  Lauren is always cold, so if Skoaltrain brings his outdoor fireplace, that may be the kicker.  Hint, Hint.

It's been in the plans for weeks.  Got Wood?  You Bet! That means you will be there!

We are in the East stands, Section C. I would offer you a ticket but the 20 I got went like hotcakes. I bought them 6 weeks ago and wish I would have gotten 40. LOL.  Do call the Civic Center box office and ask for the East Stands. I believe ticketmaster has tickets but only in the West stands. ;)

Yes 'mam I have a ticket for you Olinemom. I believe you are in Row 2 50yrd line, will that do?  ;D

My idea of perfect!!!  I'm looking forward to The Corned Beef & Co.  Is it hard to find?  I have asked FBF413 to come along with me as well.  I can't believe Jacketlawyer is thinking about coming about 3pm  He's going to be awfully hungry!!

LOL. I bet he gets there a little earlier.

The CBC is down by the Hotel Roanoke downtown. I hear it has plenty of parking on the street closeby but I've never been there. I will try to call them and let them know we are coming. ;)

It's a little too late for me this year, only due to other family obligations, but maybe I should think about making the trip next year.  I certainly think it would be a great experience!

Just wanted to see if any of you posters were planning on making it out to the Stagg Bowl.  roocru and I have our tickets and are ready to go!!!  Sure wish I was watching UMHB that day, but it ought to make for a great experience once again. (except this time it will be from the stands).

If we are building D3 traditions, then a Stagg Bowl alumni event may be one to consider.

Now you're talking.

How about a black tie dinner for D3football.com's most esteemed donors? Buck-fifty a plate.

(and I mean $1.50)

posted by Llamaguy-

We have been doing that for 2 years now! I have already obtained RSVPs from fans from atleast 10 D3 schools who will be at the Stagg tailgate this year.

The Stagg Bowl is the D3 Nat'l Convention for D3 fans! Kickoff mixer on Friday night at the Corn Beef & Co. then the meetings start promptly in the Salem Stadium parkinglot at 9am Saturday morning. The grand finale and closing ceremony are from 4-7pm with the Walnut & Bronze closing another great D3 Football season.

ps. There will be a "Roll Call" for D3 posters at Stone Station this year. Make sure to stop by and sign the list if you are there.

Well that's funny.

I had no idea a feature was in the works ... This (http://www.d3football.com/news.php?item=1160) is great.

Although didn't Stone Station go to Wilkes too? You didn't get credit for that.

Let's show the world how the ODAC does it. We might be just OK in football, but we'll dominate your flimsy conference in tailgating!
