I was afraid they would start with the (what is the word I'm looking for?) -guys who know absolutely nothing about DIII football --you know the ones that do the Stagg Bowl, which is why we listen to the audio feed so we hear the good stuff!!!!!  But I guess that'll happen next week  >:( >:(  When we get to the sports bar Friday night 12/15, any chance of making off with those 2 guys?  Just a thought :) ;) :D ;D

We have always suggested you mute ESPN, but I was never sure if anyone does it.

Thanks.

Just wish I had Tivo as Pat suggested.

Hmm ... how is it that the other three broadcasters all flew and I drove eight hours from Connecticut to Mount Union?

Gotta fire the travel people. :)

Flying didn't kick all that much butt.

Although I did get to go to the USAT X-mas party, so thanks for that Pat.

No way I would have been able to drive back home SAturday night anyway. I made it to the the HOF in Canton (although it was supposed to be open til 8, it was closed for some corporate Xmas function) ... I barely made it to the hotel in one piece.

You still got home about 14-16 hours before I did though.

I see Wesley got smoked by UWW for the second consecutive year...

So what's the call?  MT Union or UWW in the rematch?

That's a Daily Dose issue ...

I got home at a little after noon on Sunday. No shot of me driving all the way back to Connecticut alone in one fell swoop.

Good Luck to Mt. Union & Whitewater! The undisputed No. 1 & 2 teams in the country all season long. ;)

I want to know who the three voters who went UWW from Day One (although there was some wavering Oct. 28) are.

We'd better warn Corned Beef and Co. in advance before we shut the place, and the social scene in the Roanoke area, down.

LOL. I bet he gets there a little earlier.

The CBC is down by the Hotel Roanoke downtown. I hear it has plenty of parking on the street closeby but I've never been there. I will try to call them and let them know we are coming. ;)

Way ahead of me, I see.

I don't know about the parking ... then again, we usually leave the cars at the hotel then walk. That way if you imbibey, you no drivey.

I thought I talked to you and you were close to home.

Shows you how out of it I was.

You beat me by four hours but spent six more travelling ... I guess that's not all that great, huh?

Not sure I would say there is "plenty" of parking downtown but it's not bad. Especially, if you get there fairly early. (after 5/before 7) If you are staying at The Hotel Roanoke, it is an easy walk. Good idea Keith about "no drivey" Sure wouldn't want to end up in the pokey and miss the Stagg Bowl. Or worse yet, have to watch it on TV with Bubba.  ;D
Not sure how many of the d3 crowd are planning to go but I would def. call ahead and warn them you are coming. Wish I could make it Friday!!  :'(  Looking forward to socializing with my d3 brothers and sisters Sat.  8)

I can't believe Jacketlawyer is thinking about coming about 3pm  He's going to be awfully hungry!!

You are correct, Onlinemom.  I'll not only be hungry, but thirsty as well! ;D

Work issues preclude me from gettin' up there any earlier, but I'm looking forward to it like you wouldn't believe.

Not sure I can help you much with the hungry part jacket but I do believe I may be able to help you with the thirsty part!!  ;D ;D
