Just spoke with one of the managers at the Corn Beef & Company. She said there would be plenty of room to mingle. She noted they had "a ton" of TVs downstairs, 6-8 pooltables, several couches, and 3 different bars down there.
One thing of note: She did mention that dress was casual but they didn't allow sweatsuits, etc. Jeans are allowed! I specifically asked about wearing jersey's and she said no unless you are a player. Yeah, like that is going to happen. Still shooting for a 7pm meet up for anyone interested in dropping by.

Llama,

Looks like Stagg Bowl for me is not gonna happen this year. Too much going on right now. Enjoy the brownies and the circular tradition!!!

I'm still working on a possible spin off....Crew Station.....sounds like the name to pick!!

See ya next year....somewhere!!!

We will miss ya Brother. That sounds like a great name, Skoal agreed as well! Have a Merry Christmas. That circular thing is about 8 bottles strong at present. ;)

How many of the good pink ones?

Come on now, we have to eat all the jellybeans, not just the red ones. There will be atleast one, OF EACH!  ;D

Who was talking about jellybeans?  I hope none of them are blue, that stuff is nasty!!  I have even begun to really like the green!!  I'm going to the luncheon on Friday with my Bridgewater OLINE MOM button on.  Looking forward to it.  Probably the chicken won't be as good as yours though.  I guess it will be chicken. ;D ;D ;D

Just an analogy. ;) And yes there will be Blue. Guess you can just pass that one on by on Saturday. LOL!
Enjoy the luncheon. It looks like we are going to move our Corn Beef arrival time to 8pm since most everyone has team related functions at 7pm & all of our crew may not be in until then.

Great Article in the USA Today dated 12-14-06.  Not a bad job.....could have mentioned D3Football.com or Stone Station but otherwise did a nice job capturing the D3 Experience.

Yep, that was a great read.  Sounds like the writer "gets" D3 football.

BTW, the Paks WILL be in attendance on Saturday!  Just ordered my tickets from the Salem Civic Center.  FYI, you can tell them which side you want on and high or low, that's it.  No specific seating choice.  $6 service charge, but still only $38 for two adults and a student.  Best deal in sports!

Skoalman, is there anything you need me to bring?  Let me know, I'd like to contribute something.  Any kinda side dish or anything?  Sounds like Olinemom and some others have desserts covered, and the founding fathers have the main course, of course.  Look forward to seeing everybody at the game and before.  Not sure of our ETA, but we plan to be there sometime around noon.

My prediction:  some purple team will win, but Stone Station will win even bigger.

Go BC!

Pak!  Glad you'll make it.  I'd see what Llamaguy needs.  I'm all set as I can't think of anything else we need.  Looking forward to the fellowship!

Ok, Llamaguy, its back to you.  Tell me what you need.  No, I can't provide the Hooters girls, but anything else might be doable.

What about a side dish like mac and cheese or potato salad or chip and dip.  Something easy.  So glad you all are going to come.  Has anybody heard whether Greg Dofflemyer is coming?  I may have to look in the phone book and harrass him today at some point. He needs to come and wear his usual attire:  shorts just like at Thiel when the rest of us were freezing!!  What about Dennis Wakeman and his gang?  We need some music.  I definitely think the Music man should come down.  Gotta get back to baking!!  See you this weekend!! ;D ;D ;D

I'm bringing 100 deviled eggs and 12 pounds of macaroni salad.
Llama and Skoal are doing 150? halves of chicken.

Anybody else want to list-add....

Sneakysnake just filled you in Pak. If you can think of another suitable side thats fine, if not just come and enjoy the near 60 degree Stagg Bowl weather.

I talked to Doff Tuesday night at Spotswood Bball game, he is working. Dennis will be down Friday night along with Hal, Dad and Foshey on Saturday a.m. I believe. It will definitely feel like a normal BC football Saturday, minus a non-purple team on the field.
