Pat....I am not putting words in YOUR MOUTH.

It is what I think you mean by your words. I guess we all interpret things based on life experiences and a couple of years observing conversations.

I realize we all live in a litigious society and everyone is concerned about getting stuck by public forums, Is that what you mean by "words in my mouth"?

Please note that I use names even when it is contentious....Pat.

Ehh, trenches, just because one plays for a racially diverse football team doesn't preclude one from having racial hatred for those from the Middle East. You can't draw that line.

Pretty cut and dry statement if you ask me. What's so hard to figure out about it? Course.... with only an AA from Ferrum and a BA from Maryville, maybe I'm not smart enough to complicate it.  ;D
And to think, I missed all this to spend the weekend working and freezing my ass off helping my GF move.  8)

How long until football season starts again?

Seriously! :-\ >:(

As it has been said before, the college football offseason is way too long.  I guess that's what helps make the season so great.

Pat........... No kidding it's not even a challenge to get you going. ;) To me it sounded like that was exactly what you were saying but again....people somtimes do miss the mark

You always get the last shot (it's your board uh?) and I will not cross intellectual swords as I know my limited ability with the English language would preculde a certain "win" so I'll just punt. so we will leave it.

Lets make up. Now we can be friends Ed Bailey

Yes I have tumbled to the pits with no smack to talk. 5 months to go. I promise to stick to footbal players, plays, and BC Cheerleaders

Bridgewater played King's in the playoffs a few years back.  They had a hell of a defense.  I remember it as the best D BC played against.  I recall we were fortunate to win the game.

I agree, pakownr97.  They had two All-American d-linemen that year, but I was equally as impressed with their linebackers.  Those were some big dudes!
Wasn't that the game with the "Divine Wind" at the end that blew away a FG attempt on the last play of the game?

Bwana,

Yep, I believe it was.  "The Divine Wind Game."  I missed the "Ice Bowl" but I didn't miss "The Divine Wind Game."  Let's not talk about "The Divine Wind Bag" Bette Midler.

The stuff legends are made of...

;D

shoot, I thought Lamar Neal was the Divine Windbag...
NO, Tusky, You cannot MOON Dr. Geisert!

Llamaguy

Its National Signing day! The day is like Christmas to Pete Carroll, Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, et al., time to see who got the deck with all the Aces for the next National Championship run. Don't forget though, it also marks the D3 scramble for the few kids that thought they were going to sign but couldn't.  Time to start cranking up that D3 recruiting bus.  ;)

That's true.  And I bet it took you awhile to come up with someone less pretty than Ms. Midler.

God, We had Lamar Neal and Wayne Geisert.  Why do I have such fond memories of Bridgewater?

;D

Is Lamar still standing on the side of  I-64 after the golf team kicked him off the van or did some one finally go pick him up ?
