How does one get to LC coming down Rt.29 from C'ville ?

TFA--Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.  However, Allsky has provided decent directions, and I'd use those.  Good luck to your Tigers tonight guys.

Take it easy Pat.   These BC guys are struggling to get used to being in the pack again, but at least they can say "We're #2 We're #2 We're #2 We're #2.........Go Generals!

WOW! You finally get to add 1 real men's championship and look at you now.  ;D ;D ;D

Enjoy it, atleast for another 6 months.  ;)

Hey tiger.....did you make it to LC with my directions or did you end up in Buena Vista or somewhere?  ;D How bout them Tigers huh? What a game Sat.!! Based on the H-S players reaction at the end of the game, I'd say that was the release of some frustration of the Hornets have their number in recent years.
     Jacket...you missed a good un.  :o

Matt,

Yeah, I did see something a little odd.

First let me know what you consider "real" men's sports.  Soccer?  Golf?  Wrestling?  Track?  I bet Nike and Adidas would say they are, if for no other reason than the dollar amount spent in advertising and sponsorships in those sports.

The fact of the matter is the Generals are very familiar with winning.  The only sport we are stuck on the scheide is baseball, and BC has ALWAYS been good in baseball.

We had a baseball coach (Sandy Lyle was his name I am pretty sure) who was a Yogi Berra clone, we would have to line up alphabetically by height for P.E.  I wonder if his tenure in the dugout contributed to the dearth of championships. ::) ::) ::)

That's funny!  Golf a sport, Tennis?  It's not a sport when 80 year olds can still play and do good.  As for Wrassilin', I'll leave that one alone.  I'd rather it be co-ed and I never get matched up with a dude.

Take out the old guy sports (Tennis and Golf) and the tables are turned.

Haha ... nice picture.  Thank goodness Nick Lincoln stopped her.

I even got a call today from one of the coaches (in a joking manner).

Hmm, you may want to stop using whatever source you are for your championship counts.  I'm PRETTY sure Bridgewater has six football titles, not four. ;)

I did not make it....turns out my 14yr. old had a lax game Saturday @ 5pm in Richmond. Sounds like the game lived up to its billing and w/o saying, the right team won !!!!

Thanks for the directions and hope to met you soon

Jacket ... Thanks for your response on the directions as well

You know I was going to make some kind of a snarky comment about pro-golfer income and post a link to the US PGA site with an earnings listing, then I thought about the 10 BC baseball titles and how much a mediocre fielding short stop that bats .245 makes in MLB now and I pulled back.

Here's a link to Guilford's 2007 football schedule.  As discussed earlier, no times are listed yet, so I predict they're going to start a couple of the early season home games at night.   As soon as the lights are installed and tested, I expect them to fill in the times.  The lights and standards have already been delivered to the stadium, so I bet that'll happen soon.

I'm just guessing at this point, but I expect all ODAC road contests and the Methodist away game to start at 1 P.M.  I also anticipate the away games at SVU and Greensboro to start around 7 P.M.

Call it a hunch, but I bet September home games versus Averett and HSC will be at night followed by 1 P.M starts versus W&L, RMC (homecoming) and E&H.
