i know they don't read this board, but congrats to coaches kendall and heatwole and the baseball team on their odac championship.

Only 4 months 'til Kickoff. Looking forward to seeing the "offensive magic man" calling all the shots on the field. Let pops know the BC faithful are still keeping and eye on him and Craig.  ;) Good Luck in the fall.

Hey, llamaguy.  I think it's also a good time for you to troubleshoot the grill and trailers for Stone Station.  :)  We don't want any burnt brats or charred chicken next fall.  lol  If there are any kinks, make sure you straighten them all out before Oct. 13.  As the old saying goes, "If the good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise ...", I'll be there!  :)

Llamaguy

We are planning on having you there.  ;) It will be Homecoming so we will be on campus from 3pm Friday 'til early afternoon Sunday! See you there.

I too am looking forward to SS. Hard to believe how fast the year has gone and football will once again be here before we know it. However, I must insist on contributing a little more to the cause than I did in Salem. Do you ever throw any venison on that high powered grill?  If so, I can help you out there. Your hospitality is still much appreciated and left a lasting impression. One of the kool  8) things about technology is we can all get together, share info, opinions, rag on each other a little, and still get together for some good old fashion fellowship. What would the odds be of that happening without technology and this site? Thanks Pat & Co. Ok, I'm getting sappy so I'll stop now.  :'(
There was a skoaltrain sighting at City Stadium in Lynchburg last Friday night. He had two rugrats in tow. Between trips to the concession stand and potty breaks, don't think he got to see much of the game.  :D It was a good one as H-S whipped BC. Never dreamed the Eagles would come back and take two from the Tigers to win the ODAC.  :o

Ummmm, ditto.  And all this talk about brats and chicken is making me hungry. ;D

Hey jacketlawyer.  Bratwurst and grilled chicken, cole slaw, potatoes any way you want to fix them, corn on the cob and some cold  beverages ... I'm there!  "Almost" makes the football game an afterthought.  lol  While I'm on that subject, I attended an alumni meeting at Guilford last night and I was "volunteered" to seek ways to increase Greensboro/Guilford County/Triad attendance at this fall's homecoming game.   We've discussed this before, but I'd sure like to see you make the trip down Hwy 29 - Quakers and Jackets, October 27!  We'll talk more later, but I'll guarantee you a good seat and plenty to eat.  Who wins, however, is out of my hands.  We can make a friendly wager of some sort.  :)

Thanks, Bo.  I can't always plan everything five months out, but I'll do my best to be there early enough to lend a hand and visit more.  I'm sure the Eagles will be fired up for the Quakers this year, so I'm anticipating a "spirited" game.  :)

I hear ya, good buddy.  Guilford's campus is the only ODAC school I've never seen, and I seek to remedy this.  Not a question of if but rather when.  I hope we can have a pretty good season in Ashland this year, but we'll have to wait and see. ;)

Well, then you'll have to visit!  I think you'll be impressed with Guilford and all the positive changes taking place.  Please don't allow RMC's W's and L's dictate whether you make the trip!  I'm going to "pencil you in."  I'll have my people contact your people.  lol

I agree with you, of course.  But when the L's exceed the W's, I tend to get a little grumpy. . . . ;)

Stone Station franchises.  I like it!  It is pure genius.  First the ODAC, then DIII and, finally, the world!  lol  T-shirts, caps, calendars, drink cozies, college coeds serving ....  where's our marketing manager?  :)

Yeah, L > W = grumpy.  :)  Another reason to make the trip for more reasons than just football.  The BC fans will tell you, however, fan support makes the W's more likely to happen!

I am available for employment but will settle for nothing less than a VP position.  ;D How does VP, Golden Beverage Distribution sound?  :D
Have a good weekend all. I'm off to the wilds of Bath County, VA again in search of the elusive native Brookies and the not so elusive and previously mentioned golden beverage.  8)
