The Bow Ties get a top 30 spot. (Washington and Lee 5)

HSC, BC or GC-Q will beat them.

That's a fact jack!

Sorry........ double tapped this one

Yes, I'd like to add my congratulations to BC and W&L for garnering preseason votes.  It's good to have two ODAC teams with early recognition.  I also believe, however, that the 2007 ODAC champ will not go undefeated in the league.  I can't wait for the season to start!

Okay Ladies and Gentlemen. I request a little help. Can someone please suggest a hotel near EHC for the Sept 22 game? I am more interested in proximity than class. I just want a place for my wife and I to crash the night before and the night of the game.
What time do the minions arrive to tailgate before the game?
This is all new to me (not D3, just EHC). Any help would be appreciated.

There are numerous hotels in Abingdon, VA. That is probably going to be your best bet for proximity. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn there and it was fine. There are numerous other choices.  If you want a fancy dancy, the Martha Washington Inn is nice. I know the guy that outfitted their fitness center. It is top shelf.  ;D

Just wondering if all of the proud BC posters have all went on a retreat to perfect (as if they need it) their skills of culinary delight from Stone Station? Just seems as if they have not be posting as much as they did in years past. Dare I say, have they gone the route of the H-S posters after the annual BC vs. H-S contest?

OUCH!!! Way to get a little action stirring there Highlander. Been kinda boring here lately.  :o
On Highlanders down the field...running up a  high score....tear into the end zone........GO SCOTS GO

I actually have tons of respect for the posters on the ODAC board, including those from BC. It has always been fun to come over from the USA South Board to read what everyone was speaking of in the ODAC. I guess it has special interest to me, because while at Maryville I played on teams that still played schools in the ODAC. I was on the last team to beat BC, H-S, and EH (On my Senior Day) all in the same year.  ;)

Well, like I've said before, I've taken most of my posting to my message forum on Bridgewaterfootball.com to keep you non-BCers from getting bored. :)

As far as where all the BC fans have gone, I'm sure an 8-2 and non-playoff season has shut a couple up.  We are used to so much more!

But don't you worry, once the season starts up, I'll be on here yappin' away like usual. :)

Ouch! Not much love for Bridgewater.  Let's change that with our/their performance on the field.

Don't get me wrong, I love BC pub more than the next fan, but it makes sense that BC didn't crack the top 25.  And in an odd sort of way, I'm actually happy we didn't make it.

Unfortunately, I know of a couple key injuries for the upcoming season, so that'll slow us down some.  But I have a feeling we will return to our conference thrown this season and finish 10-0 (<<< there's your trash talking!!! :)).  To do so, we will have to rely on our offense scoring 40+ points a game.  Our defense is strong at the starting positions, but very thin depth wise.

Ace, nothing gets closer than the bed and breakfast on campus.  It'll put you right there.  It is a little pricey though.

Well, hopefully, from my point of view (and perhaps a few others in the ODAC), BC will be "thrown" from their "throne" again in '07.  :)

No problem, kid.  Just having some fun.  Good to see you on this site from time to time.  I hope you and your wife are doing great!  With luck, I'll see you at BC when the Quakers visit in October.

Them there are fightin' words. I don't take to kindly to someone throwin' me from my throne, especially on my Metamucil days!  ;)

I'm still around, just gone fishin'! Resting up by the lake and getting ready to begin the annual Fall tour of ODAC parkinglots come Saturdays. ;D

One of the founding fathers of SS has even done some recon in my abscence. WALMART has a mail in rebate for Boone's Farm, buy 12 bottles get 12 free! (I sure there is a reason for that,LOL!) Communion wouldn't be the same without BF though.

Meant to say kid, the site's lookin' good these days. The Coach Clark blog and sponsors?!?!

Ronnie Howard(?) best BC back of all time, no? Or Davon Cruz? Or Winston Young? Wow, those are only the ones I know.

Already enjoying Coach Clark's recruiting insights. Not registered for the forums though ... yet ... I can't even keep pace here.

LLAMADUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!

Where the H have you been all summer?  Do Llamas hibernate?  I was afraid you wouldn't have enough chicken for me this year!

I wrote on BCFootball.com's forum that Stone Station was bare last Thursday when I drove by.  I didn't smell chicken, pork, brownies OR Boones Farm.  It was a sad feeling.

Exactly one month from Today boys.  I hope those McDannys know what they are in for, or is it what fer?
