did Stone Station go on the road anywhere today? I thought I heard that you guys went somewhere, even if BC isn't playing.

Nope this dude has a mortgage to pay and had to work. :( But I'm off for every Saturday from here thru the Stagg Bowl. Get your emotionweekends in now and haul your butt to the Stagg Bowl and tailgate with us this year! :o

Wofford at The Citadel in Charleston....not Stone Station proper, and not D3, but football nontheless

Unfortunately I was at home having to listen to the ODAC games.

I was going to head down to Emory, but I my stomach didn't agree with the corndog I ate at the high school game I went to Friday night. My stomach tried four times to rid it of my system - fourth time was a charm. >:(

Good to see you posting, Oil Can.

Did Wofford look like one of the best DI-AA schools in the country? (didn't the beat App St.?)

Well, Its was just as I feared. The Tiger's come off a big emotional win after beating Bridgewater and come in flat against Emory and Henry.
No way any team can win with all the turnover's we had.
I believe it was 8 all together. I don't even know how the game was as close as it was. I guess, maybe its a good thing knowing you can play that bad and still have a close game.
The Wasp's have a solid team and tackle very well, and every play they try to strip the ball and do a good job of it.
I mean they try to pull the ball out every play. So anyone who plays the Wasp's better Duck tape the ball to their hand because they will try to pull and strip it every time !!!
But, its like I said before, the ODAC is going down to the wire.
I hope my Tiger's bounce back against an always tuff W & L Team this upcoming Saturday.
GO TIGER'S !!!

Don't associated yourself to close to me or you be out there in the land of no matter what you say it will be ignored. ;)

There's something brilliant about that.  As carefully crafted as an ee cummings poem, I think.

Hey, if I read the results right, due to scheduling, neither Guilford nor Bridgewater has won an ODAC game yet!

HSC85

I wanted to compliment Emory and Henry on a game well played.  They were the hardest hitting team on defense that I have seen this year.  They were very disiplined and did not beat themselves.  I would agree that they do look to strip the ball at every opportunity, but every defense should do that.  E & H can certianly beat any other team in the ODAC and they may be good enough to run the table.  The two corners did not show outstanding speed but they did cover well.  The front seven controlled the run extremely well.  Teams are going to have to bring their "A" game to defeat the Wasps.  Of the three ODAC teams that the Tigers have played, I would say that each of them have strengths that can propel them to victory.  The ODAC championship should go down to the wire.

Congrats on the E&H win...is the attendance (7,950) as accurate as the final score?  Did the D3.com audit team verify the final count?  Or did the gate counter reward 1,000 in attenance for every HSC fumble?  If the attendance is accurate is this some sort of an ODAC record?

D3....I will have to go back a double check this info but I want to say there were over 10k at the H-S/R-M 100th game.

     Congrats to the Wasp.  :'(

An old Tiger program from 2005 says there were over 14,000 fans at the 100th Tiger/Jacket game. I attended that game and there were a bunch of people there.  I was more concerned with enjoying a Tiger W and watching the goal post make it's way toward Chalgrove Lake than what the attendance was.  ;) :D
